My truck was totaled in an accident and I had not been planning a new(er) vehicle purchase. Due to some recent issues I was also facing credit challenges, a budget crunch, and a downpayment tied up waiti planning a new(er) vehicle purchase. Honestly, I didn't have much hope for buying a vehicle outside of taking my chances on FaceBook Marketplace. I had decided that if I was going to buy a vehicle I wanted the vehicle with the features and options I had hoped for. I had an 11:15 appointment on 2/28/26, I was immediately greeted by Greg, our salesman, who took the time to understand the issues I was dealing with, and the vehicle I was looking for. Within a few minutes he presented me with multiple options and I was off on a test drive. He listened and the vehicle was a perfect fit for what I was looking for. He then worked very hard to get a deal that would make buying this truck a reality. Now all that may seem very "normal". Greg and James CDJR went above and beyond, not only getting me in the vehicle I wanted, but put dealer plates on so I could take the vehicle home while I waited for the insurance company to issue my settlement. I quite literally, drove away that day with the vehicle I wanted, at a price I could work with, on a payment that made it possible because Greg made it happen regardless of the challenge. Now, my claim is settled and I am enjoying my new vehicle. A few days ago I was sick at my stomach thinking about how I would be able to go forward. Extremely grateful for Greg's ability to listen and move the barriers that could have prevented me from owning this truck. More

At 10:40am the vehicle still sits where I parked it. I go back into the dealership to see if it’s completed they tell me they haven’t looked at it yet. At 11:32am they call me to tell me it’s all set that it’s just the pins on the door plug connector were bent and now straightened and fixed. I go inside dealership to pay and pick up the vehicle and he now tells me that BOTH BATTERIES ARE BAD AND NEED REPLACING for a total of $1,155.28. This vehicle was just purchased from this same dealership January 25 2025 !! This dealership also charges 175 per hour labor rate. Left without purchasing any batteries at all but paid the $189 with tax rate only. Batteries were tested PRIOR TO GOING THERE TWO DAYS EARLIER BY GARAGE BOTH TESTED GOOD. !!! DO NOT TAKE YOUR VEHICLE HERE FOR SERVICE WORK !! Better yet don’t even purchase a vehicle from here !! The exact same two batteries from Friendly in Geneva are almost $125 less even though neither battery needed replacing !! They also showed on their print out of paper work that the vehicle has an extended warranty until 01/25/29 with 100 deductible which I have a copy of. !!! Also the service tech at the parts counter needs an attitude adjustment and has NO BUSINESS interacting with the general public . Maybe he should just be hidden in the back to work on vehicles with an attitude like that! Matt Armison has no business interacting with the general public with an attitude like that. Infact he should probably be terminated for trying to commit fraud claiming batteries need replacing that clearly test good !! Just trying to scam customers. More
I just got a oil change in Geneva at Friendly DCJR and I compared it to my oil change I got earlier this year at James DCJR. I thought the price at James DCJR was pretty high for an oil change but it's from compared it to my oil change I got earlier this year at James DCJR. I thought the price at James DCJR was pretty high for an oil change but it's from a dealership and it is 7 qts of oil. Come to find out they just inflated the numbers to charge me more. If you look at the recent oil change from Friendly DCJR, they charged me only $9.95 a qt where only 8 months ago James DCJR charged me $14.07 a qt. Which is a $28.84 difference. Then James charged an extra $1.40 for my engine oil filter. Equaling am additional $30.24. I got a $15 coupon at both places. I will be calling Chrysler and asking about their businesses practices and too bad they don't have a BBB or else I would be putting a complaint on there also. Hope this helps anyone who is thinking about going to James DCJR in Seneca falls for any reason. More
If you decide to go to this dealership DO NOT give your SSN before you test drive they will run your credit and put a hard inquiry on your credit i told the sales guy do not run it until we check the vehic SSN before you test drive they will run your credit and put a hard inquiry on your credit i told the sales guy do not run it until we check the vehicle out, the vehicle didn't work for my wife and we left didn't find out till I got home and got an email from credit Carma that they ran my credit and droped me 10 points on my credit score, I will for sure never do business with with this dealership More
