We were looking for a Ford Flex. We looked online and called several dealers here in town. I their dealership through Autotrader. They had a Flex that seemed like a good deal. I asked some questions and that was it. They were 4 hrs from my house so I was not sure if I wanted to drive there just to see if I liked the car. The more I looked around the more that good deal became a great deal. I got a few emails from them asking me if I had any questions. We decided to see if we could make a deal over the phone before we would drive all the way there. They said that if the Flex was not everything they said it would be that we would not have to take the deal. Our sales person was Kathy. She went over the vehicle with we over the phone telling me what she saw. I told her that it sounds like what we want. She asked if we would like it brought up to my house so we would not have to drive down there. The next day she called me and said that these 2 nice men were on their way with your new car. They arrived 4 hrs later. They wanted me to take it out for a drive and look it over. They said that if I didnt want it after all they would just drive it back. Well we drove it and looked it over. That Flex looks better than it was described over the phone. Every person at that dealership was so nice. That was the best and easiest time we have ever had buying a car. I love that dealership! I definitely would say I was extremely pleased with this dealer. Everyone was very helpful and I am more than glad I decided to drive the extra miles and purchase my car here. I had another ford dealer tell my i needed a high voltage battery for my hybrid for 9500 (parts and labor) which meant my car was totaled. I had my car towed to Jarrett who took their time examining my vehic battery for my hybrid for 9500 (parts and labor) which meant my car was totaled. I had my car towed to Jarrett who took their time examining my vehicle. It ended up being a battery and a fuse. I thank Jarrett very much for finding the real problem. More
From the moment I arrived I felt welcomed. There were no swarms of sales people jumping at me the moment I stepped from my car. When I went in to the dealership everyone was welcoming and friendly. The negotiations were swift and fair. The payoff and financing went quickly and smoothly as well. When the deal was complete, Mike & Kathy spent time showing me the ins and outs of the vehicle. This was one of the smoothest transactions involving the purchase/sale of vehicles that I have ever experienced. More
We have searched numerous dealerships to purchase a new vehicle but were unsure what to purchase..whether a Chevy or a Ford product. All dealerships we visited presented as either not interested in making vehicle but were unsure what to purchase..whether a Chevy or a Ford product. All dealerships we visited presented as either not interested in making a sale or acted as if they were in a hurry. They would also claim that the items we were looking for were not in stock and that they would e-mail us or call us. None did. We then went to Jarrett Ford in Dade City, Florida. We were amazed at the expression of professionalism and courtesy as soon as we walked in the door by Randy Neiswender and shortly thereafter by Michael Kline. Initially we could not decide on what type of vechile we wanted but they showed patience and interest to us. We even left and also gave them our e-mail and phone number as we did at other dealerships. The response to us was great and we had an e-mail from Randy as soon as we got home. The night before arrival at the dealership we received a phone call from Randy Neiswender to confirm that he had some vehicles in stock that we would be interested in and set up an appointment with us to test drive these vehicles. The next day, on a Saturday, we went back to Jarrett Ford and found that their professionlalism, friendliness and custormer service was still excellent. Needless to say with the right price we made a deal within four hours and left with a New Ford Escape. We will always go to Jarrett Ford for any vehicle we wish to purchase and recommend them to others looking for new or used vehicles. Great Job!!!! More
I visited Jarrett Ford in Dade City on February 29, 2008 around 8:30 am because the rear brakes on my 1999 Mercury Sable were making noise. As soon as I got into the service department an employee took the around 8:30 am because the rear brakes on my 1999 Mercury Sable were making noise. As soon as I got into the service department an employee took the car out on a test drive and confirmed that it was the brakes making noise. At the service counter I dealt with Eric Knopp. He told me that it would be about $159 for back brakes, and another $159 for the front. I told him that I only wanted the noise in the back to be dealt with and not to worry about the front. I asked if they would take the car into the garage right away or if I would have to wait. He told me that they would look at it right away. I went and sat in the waiting lounge for roughly an hour and a half. Around 10 am I went to the counter to see if they had found the problem. Eric advised me that they had just brought it into the garage and hadn't had a chance to look at it yet. I asked him why they hadn't started, when an hour and a half ago he told me that they would bring it in right away. He said that they had other customers vehicles' to work on first. I was unhappy because had I known there was a wait, I would have left the dealership and come back when the repairs had been made. He told me that the mechanic would get it up on the hoist right away and he would let me know when they found the problem. I went back to the waiting lounge. Shortly after that Eric brought me into the garage and told me that the brake pads were completely worn down and had dug into the rotors. At the time I was on vacation in Florida from Ontario. I told him that I didn't want new rotors, I just wanted the pads to be replaced and that I would replace the rotors when I got home. He told me that I would have to wait up to two hours for pads because there were none in stock. At this point I was very upset that it had taken this long so I told him to put the wheels back on and I would go somewhere else to get it fixed. He said alright and I went back to the waiting lounge. Around 10:15 he came in and told me that NAPA could have the brake pads delivered in about 20 minutes and that it would only take the mechanic a few minutes to replace them. I was happy to hear this and agreed to have it done. About 45 minutes later the car was done, not a few moments like Eric told me. I was watching the mechanic do the work and the labour did not take that long. While working he wandered over and was talking to other mechanics. I timed it, and it took him less than 20 minutes to replace the brake pads and put the wheels back on. I went to the counter to pay for the repairs and the price Eric had on the work order charged me for 2 hours labour. He advised me that the labour was charged from the time the wheel were taken off to the time they were put back on. I refused to pay for 2 hours labour when the work took only about half an hour. At this point, a female service advisor who was behind the counter basically said that it was my fault that the price was so high, and told me I should have gone to a small garage if I didn't want to pay high labour charges. I feel that what she said to me was very unprofessional and if I am ever in the Dade City area again I will be sure to visit a small garage for car repairs rather than give your dealership my business.
