Good Auto Service - Customer Service Could Use Improvement My service adviser seemed overwhelmed. He informed me of two auto problems found with my car. I asked how long it would take to complete the two issue My service adviser seemed overwhelmed. He informed me of two auto problems found with my car. I asked how long it would take to complete the two issues. He told me 30 minutes. An hour and ten minutes later, I came to his station to find out how much longer it would be, as I was waiting in the service department;s lobby. He told me he would need to check me out, gather paperwork. That took 15 minutes, which seemed excessive when I was clearly anxious to check out and leave. And when I was paying to leave, he was still awaiting paperwork from the auto mechanics. This adviser was professional and friendly, but he seemed to have too many customers to work with all at one time. He was constantly working on other customers' cases and paperwork whenever I would peak out to the garage to consider asking for a status. His estimates to me were well under-estimated timewise. I just felt that not enough service advisers were on staff to meet the customer's demands that day. As a result, it was a bit of a disappointing experience for me, from a time perspective. More
