The SERVICE DEPARTMENT however, is just like any other service department at any other dealership; Try to sell more service than is actually needed, and at what I consider inflated prices. My 2014 Honda Civic EX-L with just 15,500 miles has begun to drip oil. I was told by the service writer that the diagnostics would cost me somewhere between $72.00 and $140.00, depending on what was diagnosed. I am very disappointed that I needed a $300.00 repair in such a short time and with so few miles on my vehicle. The service of "re-sealing the timing belt tensioner cover" doesn't seem to me, to warrant a $300.00 charge, but what could I do? My second vehicle is a 2008 Nissan Altima with 88,000 miles, and I haven't had even $1,000.00 (Total) worth of service required in it's ten years of existence. More
