Unexpected pleasant experience On the date of sale, my experience with the salesman was a pleasant one. We came to terms and agreement on sale price relatively easy. The car I sel On the date of sale, my experience with the salesman was a pleasant one. We came to terms and agreement on sale price relatively easy. The car I selected was at a dealership nearby and arrived while the salesman and I were finishing our transaction. I was then escorted to the finance department where I was surprised to be presented with options to extend warranty. Although several perks were added to sweeten the deal, I was hesitant to add the considerable cost to my financing agreement. With considerable effort on Tyler's part, I was convinced to take the deal, adding close to $4000 to my finance agreement. I left Jay Wolfe with an uncomfortable feeling about this but drove my new car home. I agonized for two days, lost sleep, and upon return two days later with the balance of the down payment, tried to cancel the extended warranty. Tyler was reluctant, said the paperwork was already submitted. After I continued to plea to have this cancelled, he asked me to wait up to 90 days to cancel. I left feeling defeated but felt some relief that I still had time to reconsider. I find it questionable that my paperwork was already in process when I still owed $9500 in down-payment. I wish I had been aware of what was to come when being handed over to the finance department. More
