Charged for 4.5 hours of labor, had my truck for less then 2 hours. Could of done it my self in under an hour if I had a starter. then 2 hours. Could of done it my self in under an hour if I had a starter. More

Used to be that auto service centers had to post their labor rate so consumers would know ahead of time and be able to compare with other service providers. Well, its not posted at Jeff Belzer's in Lakevi labor rate so consumers would know ahead of time and be able to compare with other service providers. Well, its not posted at Jeff Belzer's in Lakeville. I was SHOCKED when I picked up my car for a $10 hose and was hit with a $250 labor charge. The invoice did not even show the labor rate or the number of hours worked. Turns out the labor rate is $219/hour. Incredible. It should have been listed or explained somewhere - on the web site when making an appointment, when speaking with the service manager before the repairs are started, on the wall, somewhere. I can only believe that the dealership is embarrassed by the rate, as they should be. Surely if I had seen that labor rate I would have taken my vehicle ANYWHERE else. If you have $ to throw away, take your vehicle there for repairs. More

I scheduled an oil change and requested that if a cancellation occurred at an earlier date could you contact me. Katie followed up with me two days later and asked if I was available to have service cancellation occurred at an earlier date could you contact me.
