Brought the Corvette in for a oil change the next day, I found a pool of oil on my garage floor under the Corvette because they did not tighten down the oil filter enough also, they did not reset The mileag found a pool of oil on my garage floor under the Corvette because they did not tighten down the oil filter enough also, they did not reset The mileage it’s still read 10% i’m wondering if they even change the oil that could’ve destroyed my whole engine next time I bring it in it was for a new battery they called me up and said it would be $134 more because there was a blown fuse and I’m pretty sure they are the one that blew the fuse. Everything was working fine when I drove it there and for 350 amp fuse was blown. I’m sure I would’ve known about it. Something would’ve been wrong. all it takes is for a wire to hit a piece of metal somewhere to blow a fuse I did that when I was changing the battery in my boat, but I never blamed it on somebody else they should have replaced that blown fuse for no charge cause it wasn’t blown when I drove it in there More

I needed a pre-road-trip oil change and was also offered tire balance, 4-wheel alignment, and fuel system service, so I OK'd it all. My issue deals with the tire balance. I learned how to balance tires at tire balance, 4-wheel alignment, and fuel system service, so I OK'd it all. My issue deals with the tire balance. I learned how to balance tires at a local garage when a teenager; I was told Rule #1 is always to remove the existing weights to ensure the minimum of weight is added to the wheel/tire assembly ... in discussions with people in the business today at high quality shops, they tell me that's still top priority. The existing wheel weights were not removed and I now have some wheels with 50-60 weights on them when 10 or less probably would have done the job; a close examination of the job indicated that many of the newly added weights (white color) were put on as a counterbalance to the old weights and provided an extremely amateur looking job since they were visible on my gloss black wheels. Needless to say, I am very disappointed at this result considering the high quality work I've had done there in the past. I did my own hi-speed road test and discovered a bit of a high frequency vibration between 50 and 75 mph, but it was a low enough in amplitude to not be objectionable (I used to test things for a living). I know This service shop can do much, much better. I was happy with the rest of the service. More

Upon driving towards their dealership entrance I was diverted by 2 employees sitting in a golf cart to go down another path to get to the dealership. I followed their instructions and when I got somewhat close to the dealership I was blocked by a group of cars purposely put their to block me from the entrance. A young lady who works there came towards my car and asked me where I was going and I told her I was trying to get to the parts department. She told me that I could not enter the Chevy dealership because they were about to shoot a commercial and to come back another time. I responded with a comment that is no way to do business and all she said was sorry for the inconvenience, I couldn’t believe what I just heard. I spoke to the manager on the phone after I got home and told him told what had just transpired and he had the worthless response, sorry about that and offered no compensation for the trip I had made their. 2 weeks later I drove into their service department and ask a service tech if someone could show me where the vacuum line was located under the hood of my corvette and she said would have to write a service order and there would be a service charge for someone just to point out where my vacuum line was. There whole operation is a bunch of worthless people and they will never get my business. I didn’t purchase my corvette there but there was 2 purchases of Mazda’s at their Jeff Schmidt dealership and a truck purchase from their Cadillac dealer by 2 members of my family in the last 3 1/2 years, which is still part of the Jeff Schmidt auto group.
