Dishonest Service I took my car in for a simple airbag seat sensor calibration. My car is heavily modified and I specifically requested that no test drive or "joy ride" be performed since it was just a simple plug & play procedure/repair. The service advisor told me a test drive was not necessary for that since it was a plug & play procedure and a test drive would not be done. The obvious happened. I checked the mileage when I dropped the car off, and when I picked it up. Sure enough, the car had about 2 miles on it when I got it back. At least my car was just beat on for 2 miles, but still uncalled for. I wouldn't trust them to work on anything again. I wouldn't recommend them to anyone. I gave 3 stars for friendliness because they were friendly, just dishonest. More
Legal Theft! Would give less than one star if possible. I took my car in for service at Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet in Miamisburg, was quoted an estimate for the work Would give less than one star if possible. I took my car in for service at Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet in Miamisburg, was quoted an estimate for the work to be performed but when I arrived to pick the car up, it was $175.00 MORE than the original quote. When I complained, the Service Director, Clay Alsup, offered me cheap a oil change for my time and trouble. I get burned for $175, and they offer me a $35 service. No wonder they're making money! I guess they're still making up for the losses that a senior Jeff Schmitt manager stole. Makes me miss Sara Chevrolet that was once in that location. They actually treated their customers with respect. More
The service department is horrible. This is the second time I've gone to have an oil change and inspection on this vehicle and both times it was a bigger hassle than what it was worth. The first time I we time I've gone to have an oil change and inspection on this vehicle and both times it was a bigger hassle than what it was worth. The first time I went on my lunch break and they told me they would take me home and come back and pick me up. I was dropped off and received a call about 30 minutes later saying my car was ready. I reminded them I needed a ride and they said one would be on the way (I live a mile from the dealership). I waited another 30 minutes and called them back. They said the ride was away from the dealership but would be back any minute. I had to call two more times and eventually the shuttle service showed up 3 hours after they had dropped me off and 2.5 hours after the car was ready. I went back today thinking I would just stay at the dealership because my work is very close and to give it a second chance. Nope, I waited for 15 minutes to be helped and at least 10 workers walked by and no one even acknowledged I was there to help me. My husband and I are buying a new car in the next month and we will surely not be buying from this dealership. More
I purchased a Certified Pre Owned Cheverolet Malibu from this dealership in June 2012. As I follow my CPO maintenance plan, I bring my vehicle in to the dealership for scheduled maintenence to get my free o this dealership in June 2012. As I follow my CPO maintenance plan, I bring my vehicle in to the dealership for scheduled maintenence to get my free oil change in January 2012, no problem. I bring my car back for scheduled maintenence in March 2013 to find that somehow the vehicle was now uncertified and there is no record of the car being purchased as a GM Certified Pre Owned vehicle. How does this happen!? After talking to my original salesman and the sales manager (who had to contact GM to verify) AND presenting my original proof of purchase to Chevrolet, my routine oil change was taken care of an hour later. This occurred on my lunch break and finally, I returned to work 1 hour late hungry and had to explain to my boss why I didn't return from lunch on time. Needless to say, I was reprimanded and lost pay. It's experiences like this that make me want to warn others of how unprofessional and disrespectful this dealership really is and how they can really ruin your day/week/month. More

I purchased my 2011 Chevy Malibu last year from Jackie Flynn. Jackie was very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. She was also very low pressure which is a definite plus in my book. I brought my Malibu Flynn. Jackie was very knowledgeable, friendly, and courteous. She was also very low pressure which is a definite plus in my book. I brought my Malibu in for routine service two weeks ago and had the pleasure of dealing with Jeff Elliott. Jeff was also very knowledgeable and friendly, and my car was serviced and ready to go in just a couple of hours. I am very satisfied with the service I have received from Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet. It was a pleasure to do business with them and I look forward to my next car purchase from Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet. More
I got an e-mail from this dealership wanting to service my car. (I bought the car from the previous owner of the dealership.) I don’t want such e-mails and never opted in. In fact, I opted out with the pre my car. (I bought the car from the previous owner of the dealership.) I don’t want such e-mails and never opted in. In fact, I opted out with the previous owner. But to opt out of this dealer’s e-mails, guess what? You have to send a request to “Aspen RMS Program Headquarters” in Chicago (?) by MAIL ONLY! How bad is that?? I’ll never go this dealer! More
I would like to convey my recent experence with Jeff Schmitt Chevrolet South in Miamisburg and with two members of their Sales Team, Brian Pettitt (Sales & Leasing Consultant) and Jim Anderson (Sales & Schmitt Chevrolet South in Miamisburg and with two members of their Sales Team, Brian Pettitt (Sales & Leasing Consultant) and Jim Anderson (Sales & Leasing Manager). I purched a vehicle thru this dealership in October of last year. We bought this vehical knowingly with no warranty. Upon the purchase of this vehical there were a couple safety issues arise that Brian agreed to repair with out hesitation even though they were under no obligation to do so. In January of this year an issue arose with this vehical. Upon notifing Mr. Anderson of this issue he, without provocation, instructed me to return the vehical so they could "make it right". These two gentlemen went above and beond to please and satisfy their customer. Their professionalism, curtesy, and caring was refreshing in todays declining customer service industry. I am an Aerospace Manufacturing Engineer in the Purchasing Department of a world class jet engine manufacture so I deal with vendors and sales professionals regularly. These two gentlemen are two of the best professionals I have dealt with in my entire carrer. Mr. Schmitt, you should be proud in obtaining this caliber of professionals for your sales team and in doing so you have obtained a loyal customer in all my furture automotive purchases and a positive advocate to all my friends and associates. I use Serra Chevrolet on a routine basic for maintenance and service of many of my GM vehicles. They are always customer focused, friendly and eager to help. Two weeks ago my son took his 2003 Subaru Imprez and service of many of my GM vehicles. They are always customer focused, friendly and eager to help. Two weeks ago my son took his 2003 Subaru Impreza in for an oil change and they didn't have an oil filter to fit but went all the way to Dayton (20 miles one way) to get the filter from a Subaru dealer, at no extra charge! That's customer service and my son said his first Corvette will be purchased at Serra Chevrolet because of their willing service department. We have also purchased several cars both new and used at Serra and they have always been super to deal with. More
