I have purchased many vehicles throughout my life for both personal and business and Carl is one of the best salesmen I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. He was very responsive to all questions I had regarding the purchase. He never missed a call or text. This vehicle needed to be transported to Wisconsin. The transportation company (not affiliated with Smedley's) did not show up as expected and Carl did not hesitate to keep me in the loop. The moment the vehicle left the dealership, Carl called to let me know so that I could be on the lookout for its arrival. It was a wonderful experience working with Carl and Smedley's.

I had an appointment with Doug at White Allen CHEVROLET as Capitol One referred me for a used car newer than the one I had. I found a Rav 4 Toyota as that was what I believed was the best vehicle. When I got to my appointment with Doug I found that I could not afford a newer Rav 4 but Doug found another car that I could afford and after a while of looking on the computer and working very hard, he found another car that I finally agreed on. If you want someone who will go the extra mile for you I recommend Doug and everyone including the manager were very nice. Especially on New Years Eve.

I have to get on here to say that Robert Davis at Jake Sweeny Chevrolet on Kemper Rd. in Cincinnati (Tri-County) is hands down the best car salesman I’ve ever worked with. This is my 3rd vehicle from Jake Sweeny — 2 from the Chrysler Dodge Jeep store and now my new Chevy from the Chevrolet store — and this was the BEST buying experience I’ve ever had, period. Shout out to "Russ Flips Whips" for the education! After my bankruptcy, I knew my first car would have a high rate and instant negative equity. Russ teaches you to keep it a year with perfect payments, then flip into a new vehicle with big rebates on a 36-month lease to bury that negative equity. That’s exactly what I did. When I saw new EVs had up to $13,000 in rebates, I started looking. My sister had just bought her first brand-new car from Robert after our friend Carrie recommended him. She got the exact Chevy Trail Blazer she wanted at a payment she loved. She told me: “Do yourself a favor and call Robert.” I had already test driven EVs at Joseph Chevrolet who told me there was “no way” I’d get financed for a lease unless I brought $20,000 down. I was floored. I called Robert, told him what I needed, and said don’t waste my time unless you can make it happen. 6 PM the next night I get a text: “Come on down, I got the deal to go through.” I showed up and he had a Chevy Blazer EV pulled up — in the exact color I wanted. We test drove, no games, no hours of waiting. I left THAT NIGHT with a brand-new Blazer EV on a 36-month/36,000-mile lease through GM Financial, with a payment I was comfortable with. Incredibly patient, answered every question, knew every feature on the Blazer EV, got me fair value on my trade-in, and stayed late to get financing done right. Zero pressure. 100% professional. He even programmed the car with me and showed me all the options. We had one tiny paperwork hiccup, but I swung back the next day at my convenience, signed two papers while he charged my car for me. Dropped off my Equinox for a 9:00 am appointment to diagnose a noise coming from the engine compartment. They said they would get back to me that day when they looked at it. They also texted me a phone number I could call and a hyperlink to use if I wanted to check on the status or I could simply reply to the text. In the later part of the afternoon I texted and got no reply. The following day I texted again with no reply; I utilized the hyperlink and it only showed that I dropped off the vehicle but nothing else. I called a minimum of 5 times only to be told by the call center that no one is picking up in the service department. I finally just drove back to Cronin to find out that they haven’t even looked at my car yet. I told them to give me my keys and I would take it somewhere else. They did not treat me very nice when I told them that. When Hirlinger owned the dealership I never had a problem with them. I can with 100% certainty say that I will never go to any dealership owned by Cronin again. I will also have to give a lot of consideration to purchasing Chevrolet again if this is what their car dealerships are heading toward. Big disappointment!

On the used car I purchased from Columbia Chevrolet, the transmission died after 4,000 miles. They are not standing behind the sale at all, and tell me that the (6 month) warranty was up by 10 days. But during a check in call I made to their service department, they told me it would be covered, and even gave me the part name they were waiting on. Now comes the UNBELIEVABLE part of the story. They told me that the service manager I talked to had me confused with another customer. So their apology to me during my 4 1/2 week wait while my car sat in their shop was, "Sorry, honest mistake, we confused you with a different customer!" (that ALSO had a 2017 Tahoe recently purchased from them that had a bad transmission, and had a warranty question.) Can you imagine, of all the gin joints, that there was a customer JUST LIKE ME. So weak. And again, their gift to me for my troubles was an inflated repair cost ($7,200.00) But they would discount it by $1,000.00 for my troubles. I called another reputable Chevrolet dealership in the area, gave them my VIN number, and asked for an estimate on a rebuilt transmission replacement. $6,200 - $6,400. Imagine my surprise!!!! Stay away from Corey.........
