Absolutely the worst car buying experience ever. We Absolutely the worst car buying experience ever. We purchased our new Kona Nov. 2019 and not even 6mths later were notified of an upcoming recall wi Absolutely the worst car buying experience ever. We purchased our new Kona Nov. 2019 and not even 6mths later were notified of an upcoming recall with no remedy at the time. The recall is the 203 piston ring recall. Upon waiting almost 8 months for this recall to get a resolve I began to notice issues with our Kona and I contacted Jenkins Hyundai ad to get educated to options. I then upon being told three times by reps that they had no info or clue of the recall I wanted to speak to the finance rep we dealt with but he was not available. So unfortunately I was transferred to this piece of work. Upon attempting to speak to her I began to get highly pissed by her apparent and obvious snide remarks. I then finally asked her to educate me as to my add on packs we added to our deal for extended warranty, gap, and paint protection as I was interested in getting out of the car and she snidely told me that she was not going to release the information that I should've kept my contact as so I can read it and find out and as the banks do not know the amounts because only the dealers hold the true signing amounts of these options broken down. Now here I sit with this xxx Kona that has a motor that SUPPOSEDLY has a monitoring program with in the motor added at the time of recall repairs. This Kona has now plumited in value and no dealer will touch this vehicle as a trade in or if they try the offers are almost $5k or more less than value due to this recall and dealers knowing the severity of the recall issue. It's ashame you place people into a vehicle that looses all it's value due to MANUFACTURING issues and are to sorry to help them when the time is needed. This women even told a dealer we went to at another Hyundai dealership the same thing that she would not look it up and if I wanted the info of the packs then I would have to come into the lot and sign a paper for release and she would not sign it. I wouldn't step back foot into this dealership to even get my oil changed. And to boot I have been lied to as to the monitoring program. Another dealer states that it was completed on Aug 31 and everything passed inspection. Well well 2 weeks later I recieved a notice of recall from Hyundai and it plainly states the program is still in development and won't be released for awhile. This is insane I agreed to an auto loan and terms that should not be held valid due to this issue. Why am I paying for a $29k car that isn't even worth half that she to a manufacturing issue More
