Worst management and sales team ever encountered. If you think you can call the President/CEO Tom Formanek as stated on the wall of each dealership for help, think again! Your message gets sent back to the GM Steve Tagliente who was part of the problem to begin with. This dealership showed Palisades that were not available, but promised to bring this car from a Florida dealership in 24 hours. High pressure tactics used to tell you they wont bring it for you if you don't buy it sight unseen. $51,000 later in a contract that said you cannot back out, now they don't have that car either. Come to find out, they have already issued a tag for this vehicle in our name that belongs to someone else. The give a brand new Sonata as a loner to use but the paperwork they provided in the car in case you get pulled over was for a Tuscon. Then they called and asked if we would change the color of the interior again because they are having a hard time finding what they forced us to buy sight unseen. Then they said we shouldn't have given you a new Sonata so we need that back. Finally after waiting for 2 1/2 hours for a return phone call to tell us what they were going to do, we just drove the Sonata back up there. The GM would not give me his last name or a card, just said name is Steve and he was too busy to deal with us. Oddly enough when he pushed us off to Thomas Vanderhoof and the other Kimberly Crews, He then stood in the hall way to listen what we were saying. After spending over another two hours trying to explain that they have also given the wrong contract for the deal that was signed, but it still had our name on it, Thomas said well why didn't you read it? After trying to push blame towards us, Thomas decides to go into the computer and look at the deal that was signed. GUESS WHAT...he said that's OUR BAD, you do have the wrong contract. Ultimately they did give us our car back and we bought some where else but couldn't transfer our tag because its tied to someone Palisade. This is the most unprofessional group I have ever en-countered. PLEASE THINK TWICE before you do business with this dealer they are NOT TRUSTWORTHY and care more about there sales numbers than you the Customer! More
Do yourself a favor and look for another dealership. I purchased “extras” for my vehicle and was told at the time of purchase parts needed to be ordered and I would be contacted to have them installed. After a week I hadn’t received a call, so I called to check in and was told someone would call me back. I have since called and been promised call backs 6 times and continue to get the run around 3 weeks later. I have also contacted the GM (Steven) who gave a thoughtless apology and copied his department managers on an email requesting they get this taken care of. Unsurprisingly no one has contacted me. I’ve opened a case with Hyundai and plan to contact the owner of Jenkins tomorrow and see if maybe he can get his team to do their jobs or reimburse me for the work they seem incapable of or unwilling to do. Also, they sold me a maintenance warranty that is only good at their dealership knowing that Hyundai is currently offering it for free on 2020 and newer vehicles (as confirmed by Hyundai Corporate). They're deplorable, go somewhere else. More
