Not sure how that can happen. It seemed like the service writer could careless about anything but money. She seemed to have no interest in my satisfaction. She has no problem solving skills and no sense of customer importance. While everybody else was getting updates on their vehicles, my vehicle hadn’t even made it to the service area. The service writer hadn’t even looked for the paperwork to check the warranty. I honestly believe that, if I’d have stayed, I would have left with a huge repair bill. To make matters worse, one of the other service writers must have felt that the service writer who was “taking care of me” needed defending and offered his opinion for which nobody asked. My wife took the vehicle to the place she bought it and she didn’t have the issues that your dealership presented. I work in leesburg and was gonna take it there until I found out they were affiliated with Jenkins Ocala. The only thing I can understand about this terrible experience is that you are under staffed. However, I scheduled the appointment weeks before the day I brought it in. I would think your staff that makes the reservations would no how many employees there will be to handle the workload and not over schedule. I could see if suddenly employees had to call in sick, in which case that would have been brought up upon arrival. I would have understood this, but that’s not what happened. Genesis Hyundai did a great job. I think your service writers should go spend a few days there at Genesis, and learn how to treat customers.
