Told me I had an oil leak and would have to order the parts $743.79 that’s not including the 4 hour labor. I said I will let you know if I want you to order parts. I went to another location and ask the parts $743.79 that’s not including the 4 hour labor. I said I will let you know if I want you to order parts. I went to another location and ask them to give me a price. I got the job done by them for $579.00. Still want my opinion on your service department. 👎 More
My service advisor, Robin Rockey is great to work with. I brought in my 2017 Nissan Pathfinder because my battery had died. I had to jump the vehicle to get it up to the service center. I told Robin that I I brought in my 2017 Nissan Pathfinder because my battery had died. I had to jump the vehicle to get it up to the service center. I told Robin that I was low on gas because I didn’t want to shut off the vehicle when adding fuel. I didn’t think this would matter at the time. I told Robin that I wanted to get an oil change and tire rotation while there. She looked at my vehicle service and recommend the coolant flush and induction service. This was on Sunday, so I was told to come back at 4:30pm to pick up the vehicle before they closed at 5pm. I didn’t leave until after 6:30pm and my wife had to pick me up. It turns out for the induction service, they have to run my vehicle for a long time. I eventually saw my vehicle pull out so I stepped out. It turns out that my vehicle was sitting at the back of the parking lot out of fuel. The mechanic had to get fuel to put in my Pathfinder. When he returned and put the fuel in the vehicle, he started it again and smoke was pouring out of the exhaust. Another service person was there waiting for me. She said that this was normal as part of the induction service. The mechanic finally pulled my Pathfinder up and said that the engine light keeps flashing and that there was a problem with the Throttle Body. My thought is that my pathfinder was run dry and any sludge in my fuel tank is now in the system. It has been three days now and I have a loaner vehicle. I was told that the Mechanic still hasn’t looked at my vehicle and I should expect to keep the loaner until Friday. If you are going to do an induction service, I would think that verifying fuel is in the vehicle would be the number one thing to check. I never let my vehicles run out of fuel. My dash said that I still had 56 miles left until empty so I had plenty left to fill up after taking my Pathfinder home. Now I’m worried that there is going to be more wrong with my vehicle. I already paid over $800 for this service because I was asked to pay before they closed. I’m hoping I don’t have to pay more and I’m really hoping there aren’t more problems with my vehicle now. So for this review, my service isn’t even complete yet. Robin opened another work order for this continued service. I don’t blame her for anything. She has been very helpful. More
