They respected my internet research and accomodated me with a very reasonable price that required no haggling. It was in fact, enjoyable ..... that I could make my decision in a relaxed way without any pressure at all. I feel that Amir and Ken (the sales manager) went out of their way to allow the process to happen without any pressure, and i feel that I was treated with fairness, both professionally and personally. One litte note: when i arrived to pick up the car, Amir was just coming from the Jennings employees' book group where they were discussing a book written by Deepak Chopra. It somehow made sense. Here are people who enjoy their jobs, and don't feel the need to screw anybody in the process, and recognize the personal, the short-term, and the long-term benefit in treating people with authenticity and respect. This was my first time leasing a vehicle and Eric was able to answer all of my questions about the trade in and leasing requirements for the new vehicle. I am from Green Bay, WI, so visiting and buying a car from Jennings Volkswagen was a bit of a stretch, as the dealership is approximately 200 miles from my home. However, I was looking for a particular configuration of Beetle and I found it on the Jennings website. My first contact with the dealership was through Erin Hickey, Internet Sales Manager. She was able to get me an "out the door" price within about 5 minutes of my initial contact with her and it was substantially less than a quote on a similar vehicle at a local dealership. We committed to the car immediately and arranged to take delivery of it the next week. Erin came in on her day off to introduce us to Eric Breitenbach, our sales contact. Eric put together the final details of our deal and then brought me up to speed on all the features of my new Beetle. Like Erin, he was extremely friendly, helpful, and a true delight to work with. The two of them did some very special things for us as we took delivery of our car, WAY above and beyond what I had expected and hoped for. Let me just copy the e-mail I sent to them this morning, just shy of 24 hours after we drove away in our new Beetle: Eric and Erin, THANK YOU is so inadequate to express all my thoughts and feelings about the experience you put together for Bob and me, but it's at least a start. You went so far above and beyond my hopes and expectations that I can't even begin to put into words what a gift you have been to us in this whole car-buying process. MATZ MOM is eternally grateful! Our ride home was a blast, trying out all the new features of our sound system (I was driving, Bob was pushing the buttons, it was all very safe). Ended up with 44.7 miles per gallon, which was not as good as Bob gets in his Passat, so he was very pleased...still the alpha man!
