I dealt with Louis. He truly is a great guy to deal with, extremely friendly and really looked out for our best intetest. He told me over the phone he would hook us up, and held true to his word. I went there on a Saturday and was greeted by Gus. Gus was wonderful he showed me a Sportage and told me he would never sell me a car until I took it for a test drive. So we went for a ride he was very th was wonderful he showed me a Sportage and told me he would never sell me a car until I took it for a test drive. So we went for a ride he was very thorough and knew everything about the car he was showing me. We talked some number and since this was the first dealership I had checked out I told him I wanted to do my research. I later went on TRUECAR.com and input the car information and was given a guaranteed price of $25,708 for the car with my new grad incentive included. I called up and spoke to Mariela and she said this would be honored. I went in with my printout and spoke with Gus. He got the manager Ron and Ron told me I have to qualify for every incentive which would included new grad, military and customer loyalty. So I said I have to be out of the military just have graduated college and had a previous Kia. I find this hard to believe. I then called up Truecar right in front of them on speaker phone and they said this was not true and they will be contacting the dealer. When I asked Ron for his last name he wouldn't even give it to me to give to them. This place is horrible and dishonest. The only honest and trustworthy person in the place is Gus. Gus was wonderful honest and patient with me. He truly felt bad that his manager wouldn't honor this. If you must go there I would only deal with Gus and no one else. More
I went to Hudson Kia and after talking for a few hours I was given the last offer - $2203.04 vehicle trade with a $500 cash deposit and a monthly payment of $325. When I left the building I was trying to fi was given the last offer - $2203.04 vehicle trade with a $500 cash deposit and a monthly payment of $325. When I left the building I was trying to figure out the math. I realize with $2203.04 vehicle trade and $500 cash my monthly payment should be lower. I went back in and asked the sales manager and he told the sales person Tony to lower the monthly payment to $320 a month (took off only $180 off total price). When I left again I noticed I was still missing money ($523). When I got home I noticed with the money down my payment should be at $300 a month. On March 20, 2013, I went back to Hudson Kia to speak with the sales manager that helped me the night before (Ronal Barahona). I was told he was off today and another sales manager helped me. I explained everything to the new sales manager and he stated he understood what happen. He stated “they gave you more for your trade-in because we (the dealer) were negative on our end.” I asked when we take delivery of the vehicle if I can get my $500 deposit back and he stated no. I asked can I get money off my monthly payment because I still have $523 that’s missing and he stated “no, you got a good deal.” I asked if we can go back to the 3rd offer but use the car as the total down payment and he stated “if we do that your payment will go back to $330.” I asked about the $203.04 leftover from the trade-in and he didn’t answer. I asked for my $500 deposit back and the sales manger stated “go get it, I’m glad I didn’t get that car.” And walked away from his desk. I was refunded my money. More
After speaking with roxanna over and over and explaining to her that I live 2-3 hours away. And to please save me the trouble of driving up there for no reason...... I drove up there for no reason. Horrible to her that I live 2-3 hours away. And to please save me the trouble of driving up there for no reason...... I drove up there for no reason. Horrible experience. I don't know how a dealership stays in business. They are very sneaky. Buyer beware. The price you see online is not the price of the car. They told me the price online is a discounted price if you meet a certain requirement. You have to be a recent graduate and a previous customer haha. This dealership is a joke. I was very upset. I wish they would have told me that before I drive up there in a now storm 2 hours each way. Also. You would think, when selling a 20,000$ car that they would have it ready to go, without a huge crack on the windshield and without the tire pressure signal on. So unprofessional. Thnk about it. If they did bot take care of a cars visual problems imagine what kind of hidden problems it may have. And then the manager has the nerve to tell me. WELL WE ADVERTISE A LOWER PRICE WHICH IS NOT THE REAL PRICE SO WE CAN GET PEOPLE LIKE YOU TO COME IN. In my mind I was like, ok, I'm a sucker. Ok. Wow. And after all this. He proceeds to try and negotiate with me. (Insult someone and then try to negotiate). I will never deal with this or any other Hudson dealership ever. The only positive about this experience is that it was an experience that I can learn from when dealing with other dealerships. But otherwise would not recommend it at all. More
Wow, what an eye opening experience this has been. I just went here the other day and if I would have seen all these bad reviews about this place that are 100% true I would have never even bothered. I had fo went here the other day and if I would have seen all these bad reviews about this place that are 100% true I would have never even bothered. I had found a specific car, good price, mileage etc. So I got into contact with an internet sales person or whatever her position is. We had been talking for a few days and she had continuously told me exactly what I wanted to hear and basically that the car was still available. So it was the day I was finally able to go over there. So I call Roxanna like an hour or two before I go and say hey I'm coming in a little while, she says okay cool everything will be ready, okay good. Then, I finally get there, a half an hour away from my house. The guy at the desk says oh, we just sold that car last nite. Are you serious? I drove all this way and even called ahead and the car is not there? So at this point I'm pissed off because I had already basically fell in love with the car and now I couldn't get it. So I gave them the benefit of the doubt and says okay well I'm still looking can you get someone to help us. The guy brings out this hott little blonde, who know's absolutely NOTHING! about cars, she knew even less about cars then I did and that's saying a lot. So at the lot which is not even a big one, they have nothing like what I was looking for or had advertised and right away she wanted me to get into something way over my budget and financed. So I just left a very angry person. I emailed Roxanna and let her know what a terrible business practice she runs, etc etc etc. Then I just found all these reviews and it's amazing, I thought I was the only sucker to get caught into their trap. Please do yourself a favor and never go to this place or any place on this street, their probably all the same. What a terrible experience and I thank God that I signed nothing or didn't get into anything serious with them. Don't go here there are other places that don't do this. More
If you think it is OK for a dealer to quote you a price online, only to then deny they ever agreed to that quote then by all means go here. If you think it is OK for a car dealer to give you half-answers, online, only to then deny they ever agreed to that quote then by all means go here. If you think it is OK for a car dealer to give you half-answers, lat-out ffalse answers or misleading answers to your questions then by all means go here. If you like to pay extra unnecessary fees for useless "required" items such as windowing etching, extended warranties, paint sealant, etc then by all means go here. This way one of the worst car buying experiences of my life and I have bought 7 cars to this point but I did NOT buy here. I spent a week negotiating with them online only to find out upon arriving in the dealership that the "internet sales department" had apparently no authority to quote prices so "management" tried to RE-negotiate with me from square 1 (down from the MSRP of course). After I raised heck and threatened to leave they suddenly agreed to honor the original price we agreed to...awww,, so NICE of them to actually stand by their word (but that did not last long)! Then the barrage of mystery fees came flying at me from various people at the dealership....first from the salesmen came a 'car transfer fee'...$671...then the sales mgr Jose tried telling me there was a "car location fee" $595.. when I balked he said he would "do me a favor and split it." with me..aww how NICE of him! The the finiance clown Ron came over and tried telling me there was a "mandatory window etching" fee on all new cars for $200...I did my homework and knew my numbers so of course I flat out said I was not paying a dime extra for any of these unnecessary so-called "required" fees. Due to my hard-line stance the fees were never mentioned again and I thought there was actually a chance a deal could still be salvaged. But the deal breaker came when I said I'd put down a minimum credit card deposit on the vehicle ONLY if they wrote out a receipt on company letterhead saying the deposit would be refunded in full if the car was not delivered exactly as written up. At that Ron became incensed, called ME rude and dishonest and said I should just "trust him" to deliver on his word. I said if he WAS honest then he should have no problem putting his quote in writing. How could I trust them to deliver on his word when they already LIED about agreeing to a price of the car AND tried to add on all these bogus extra fees? Needless to say he would not put anything in writing and I left. Do NOT let these shady salesmen bully you into thinking these "required" fees are necessary. Just firmly say no and be ready to walk if you do not get the price you want. I will NEVER go here again. More
Worse than horrible experience, the Sales man was unprofessional, rude and had no knowledge whatsoever. Would never recommend the dealership. Surprisingly, the sales man only wanted to talk the detai unprofessional, rude and had no knowledge whatsoever. Would never recommend the dealership. Called twice to confirm that a specific vehicle was available - once the morning of the visit, and once while en route (I was traveling over an hour to this dealership). When I got there, I was told t available - once the morning of the visit, and once while en route (I was traveling over an hour to this dealership). When I got there, I was told the car was at an alternate lot, but it would be brought over in 10 minutes. During my 40 minute wait, Vern and Lou tried to talk me in to buying the much higher priced top of the line model. After declining,I was informed that the car I had come in to purchase was actually not available but could be ordered. Classic bait and switch. The lied, they wasted my time, they were rude and unprofessional. Avoid this dealership at all costs. More
Totally unprofessional! Second time there looking for a used vehicle and wasted my time a second time. After sitting with Michael Rivera the salesman for over an hour, I was told (verbatim), I thought you used vehicle and wasted my time a second time. After sitting with Michael Rivera the salesman for over an hour, I was told (verbatim), I thought you were a nice guy! Mortified that a salesman would even say such a thing, I walked out and will never go back again. As a staple of my community, I have informed all friends, family and professionals that the place is a joke. There was absoutely no reason for that statement to be made. I was patient, allowed them to appraise my trade-in, made an initial offer on a vehicle and was told that the manager would be right over. I asked for the key to my vehicle back as I had an appointment at another lot that Michael knew about an hour and a half before we began to talk. I was fully interested on making a purchase of the vehicle i was looking at. While we were waiting for the manager, Mr.Rivera stared out the window and said, "I don't know what happened from the time you walked in til now, but I thought you were a nice guy." At that very moment I said, how dare you, got up and walked out. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PLACE. Totally unprofessional. More
