Awful experience at every step Lies from the outset. I asked the sales guy (Luca) specifically if he'd been in the vehicle. He told me he had. I asked had it been in an accident? He Lies from the outset. I asked the sales guy (Luca) specifically if he'd been in the vehicle. He told me he had. I asked had it been in an accident? He told me it had not. I have all records/logs of the call. I applied for financing and told the dealer it would be a few days before I could get there as I live 750 miles away. Before i ended the call I asked the sales guy if there was anything I should be aware of before leaving my state to pick the vehicle up. He replied no. I arrived three days later, after driving 750 miles, I was tired and wanted to pick the vehicle up and go. Instead, I was sat with Jeff, an untrained, nervous sales guy. During the test drive, where the car seemed to drive quite well I asked Jeff if we could take the vehicle on the highway. Jeff replied that the highway was too far away. Please be aware that at this point, I had no reason to question the honesty or integrity of this dealership. When I got back to the dealer, I specifically asked Jeff NOT to pull credit as I had approved credit and I wanted to leave as soon as I could. Within minutes I was notified from Credit Karma that Jidd had indeed run my credit. I asked Jeff why this was done. He looked puzzled. I was then appoached by a sleezy sales guy saying they could beat my rate and lower my payments. I told them I didn't want that. I did not want my credit being pulled again. I was then subjected to 5 hours of negotiation, where I was lied to, had my trade in keys refused to be returned to me, on three occasions, had to ask for the manual no less than 6 times, was basically strong-armed into going through BMW financial services just to get out of there. To top it off, the vehicle I bought had several issues. Still does. It was smooth as silk up to 60 MPH, but at 60 and above the steering wheel wobbled all over the place and was much worse in braking. Daytime running light doesn't work on drivers side, drivers side door remains slightly open, which you cant see at low speeds but can hear at speed. The washers don't work. And despite me testing the hood pull, which I pulled on the test drive, Jeff had concealed the fact that the handle itself was completely missing. I think it's illegal to sell a vehicle without a working hood pull? Probably. Dealer quoted $2500 to get all these things fixed. Jidd initially, after several heated conversations, offered $300. What a joke - amateurs. After further heated negotiation, they agreed to offer $700. Only if I stayed quiet. I took the money, because we needed it to get the car somewhat road worthy, but I am not remaining silent on it - sue me. You'll lose. It doesn't end there. All the materials I was given told me that the cars servicing had been taken care of by Jidd. This is lies. The oil is 30k - 40k old, the air filter had never been changed (on a 5 year old car). If you purchase from them (I recommend not), do your homework. Insist on a full demonstration, record all conversations, go pre-approved, tell them you have 2 hours maximum to complete the transaction, READ everything, trust no one, check the car out thoroughly at speed, check everything works. Jidd seems to eat spare keys - insist that a spare key is included in the price and only visit the dealership when they confirm that two keys indeed come with the vehicle - make sure you deactivate the lost/missing key at the main dealer - selling keys and addresses does happen. Don't release your trade in keys until you can be with them when they test drive it - you want to confirm the condition and findings otherwise you might get abused at the point of negotiation - and don't give them the keys until YOU are happy you are going to accept the new vehicle. Shady shady dealer - steer clear. My advice - go elsewhere - their prices are such because they cut corners, mistreat their customers and lie. More
