Here's why you should check out Jidd Motors (in my humble opinion): Strong leadership at the top (Sam Jidd, one of the executive managers/owners I believe particularly enhanced my experience here and ultimately lead me to being a customer and probably a repeating customer down the road). Here's some more details on their strong leadership: I found a car I was particularly interested in that a few surrounding dealers had in their inventory as well (Knauz BMW, Autobarn in Evanston, Elmhurst BMW). I decided to visit Jidd Motors first as this was the closest to my location (even though the internet price was not the lowest compared to some of the dealers listed above). When I visited, I was only with a salesman for around two minutes...because I was out hunting for a good deal on their car, and a fair deal on my trade-in car. Sam Jidd escorted my girlfriend and I into his office and we started to talk business. He drove a very strong sales pitch, and I have recently developed much skepticism and caution towards good sales offers. So when we got down to the final numbers, he actually presented me with a very good deal. When he saw I was on the fence, he sweetened the deal for me and promised me industry leading customer service in the future (also free quality car washes down the road at their car wash for life). I was sold...anyone who promises such good care down the road, and I truly believe they mean it, will have a VERY good chance at earning my business. Follow-up? When I brought my new car home (used BMW 3 series 2011), the tires were a bit worn. I brought the car back to Sam at Jidd Motors within the week. Now here's a disclaimer, if you ever purchase a used car with worn tires, its the customers fault, 100% for not checking. Sam knows this, I knew this. However, i still asked him to help me out and he covered a significant portion of the replacement tires cost (plus balancing, installation, etc.) and I was....to be honest, pretty surprised at this gesture. He didn't have to do this...but that is exactly why Jidd Motors has earned 5 Stars in my eyes. Down the road, I expect this rating to stay at 5 stars because I know Sam will come through and help me out where he can (within reason of course. Don't go to any dealership thinking you're going to get free maintenance and upgrades the rest of your car's life...that's foolish and unlikely anywhere). Sam Jidd is a skilled sales owner but more importantly, he cares about his customers. ALREADY, my friends and family have asked me where I got my BMW and if I would recommend the dealership, and I immediately let them know it was Jidd Motors and yes, go check out their inventory and say Hi to Sam for me! He was great to talk to, super funny, and made the experience painless, unless we got to the price. I thought they priced it a bit high, but they were super confident that it was the right choice and I bought it. I will definitely recommend Mike to anyone who needs German luxury vehicles. More

The sales staff were very helpful and listened to my concerns before taking a test ride. I found the car I liked, but it had a missing cup holder and a broken speaker grill in the back. No big deal. They took care of it, washed it up, and I left with a great care and a great price. People need to understand that these dealerships are in business and they can't simply give cars away. I took the time on a Saturday to negotiate the best deal for me and I walked away happy. These are very reasonable guys and I highly recommend them to anybody looking for a quality import. More

I went with my father looking for a new car for him and we didn't really know what to get at first but after browsing my father found a car that he really wanted. They right away took us for a test drive which some dealers didnt even let us! one of the gentlemen at jidd motors sat us down he was very friendly to us. He went over some details and everything else quite professionaly and once the numbers came at first they where a bit too high. We did sit for about over an hour trying to work out a good monthly payment and after many negotiations they where able to meet our budget! I thought it was a very good deal so we took it. just wanted to state that we had a good experience there and want to thank jidd for helping us. More

But until i saw the nissan pathfinder i knew that this was the perfect one. We chose to go with that one and for the price they wanted it was unarguable and we got it the same day. I forgot the name of the guy that helped me get the car but he was very nice and helpful , knew a lot about the car also not many dealers do test drives but he let me and i just fell in love with the car just like that. The sales dude also tried his best to work with my budget after waiting for quite a while they where actually able to meet my budget so i am a very happy customer and jidd gets a 5 star rating form me. thank you guys! Good deal, great purchase experience! I came in to Jidd Motors after sending an inquiry through Cars.com about a Ford Mustang coupe that they had showing "in stock". A few quick minutes later, Brian contacted me over the phone to help answer my questions about it. He also offered detailed driving directions from where ai live, so I could come in and test drive it that night. The Mustang was washed and waiting in the parking area out front when I did arrive, and it looked stunning! He let me take a long, relaxed drive around Des Plaines and Mt Prospect to really get a feel for how it drove, then we went back to the Jidd Motors showroom and discussed my least favorite part- the price. Still, Brian was respectful and kind when he confirmed what their best available selling price would be. I got a "fair deal"... guess that car dealers have to make some money to keep the lights on and employees fed right? Even so, Brian kept on being nice to me until it was time to drive my new car home. He even called me and sent a hand-written thank you letter to me after I left, just to express that he appreciated my business and hoped to hear from me again in the future. Never have I bought a car before and gotten that kind of professional courtesy AFTER taking the car home! Keep up the good work, Brian. More

Scammers These guys are scammers. They offered me 10K for my trade in when Bluebook has it 15 and true value has it at 13K for trade in. They said they might These guys are scammers. They said they might not be able to sell the Jeep because Car Fax shows as possible odometer roll back. They showed me the Car Fax and it showed possible odometer rollback. Now the jeep is listed on their website at 19555 with retail value of 24555 and the Carfax they are now providing shows no odometer rollback. So in other words, I got ripped off. To top it off, the jeep I bought from them already needs repairs. Tail light filling with water and console lights blink in and out. Stay away from these guys. More

BEWARE!!!! I went to Jidd Motors because they seemed trustworthy, boy was I wrong. The salesman James seemed to know nothing about the vehicle, even the fact tha I went to Jidd Motors because they seemed trustworthy, boy was I wrong. The salesman James seemed to know nothing about the vehicle, even the fact that it was stolen according to the Carfax. I specifically asked him if there was a problem with the engine light and flat out said NO! Well lo and behold not more than 5 minutes after the deal was done and I was on the expressway the engine light went on. I went to a mechanic and had the computer hooked up and 6 codes popped up. Doesn't take a genius to clear the computer so the engine light temporarily stays off. I guess that thorough inspection they claim kinda missed all these issues. A new battery and starter for starters is a $400 hit, I already replaced the plugs and coil packs. I'm afraid to fathom the future costs to keep this lemon running. Watch all the positive reviews because as a recent review stated its easy for your buddies to write positive reviews to pump up this business. This was a bad experience and this salesman James is a flat out liar. I wrote him a letter, called him and emailed him without a response. I regret not going to CarMax because they at least have a 5 day return policy. If you do business here please be careful. More
