I'm glad to say my problem was finally resolved but it was a stressful experience. I have a Kia Niro EV and there was a defect in the charger cover -- it was very hard to open (or I was unable to open it at all sometimes) which of course prevented me from charging the car. My warranty had just expired (although I had complained about this while the warranty was still in effect). I only had about 25,000 miles on the vehicle but bought it just over 60 months ago. I was told it would cost about $1100 to fix this problem. Finally, after much haggling, I was told there would be no charge which I appreciated but it meant another trip back (I live an hour away). It was fixed and I was happy. But I have another issue. The first trip I made was for a basic tune-up which I thought would include filling all fluids. But shortly after that service, I started to get notices in the car that I need to re-fill induction fluid. So now I either need to buy my own induction fluid or take the car back a third time. Shouldn't this have been something that was done during the service? I'm not sure anyone reads these reviews (I got no response to my prior ones) but it would be nice to know it has been read. I don't want to get a canned notice saying Jim Bone is happy I loved the service which is what I got last time I had some complaints. Thank you for your attention. More
I was welcomed by a very sweet, young woman named Vanessa. She did not pressure, just asked questions to assure she could find what I was looking for. She was a pleasure to do with business with. She found the exact vehicle I wanted and she took the time to show me how to operate all the features. She even put a bow on the car when I came back to get it. The manager was delightful, again no huge pressure, just lots of laughter and made me a fair deal on my purchase and my trade in. We both left happy. The finance manager was professional, kind, and didn't try to upsale me on anything I didn't need. He even told me about how to get some money back on my trade in that I knew nothing about! There is still something to be said about a small town dealership! Really happy with my experience at Jim Bone Kia and my new Kia Sportage Turbo Hybrid X! I highly recommend this business and their empmoyees! More
