I have purchased 3 cars from Jim bone Kia. A brand new 2019 sorento sx, a 2025 telluride and my daughter bought a 2025 sorento. I am all for dealers making money, but not at the expense of the A brand new 2019 sorento sx, a 2025 telluride and my daughter bought a 2025 sorento. I am all for dealers making money, but not at the expense of the customer. I traded in my 2019 sorento with less than 35k and was low balled on the trade in. The next week, my sorento was on their lot going for 10 to 15 thousand over what I was given as a trade in. My daughter traded in my 2003 ford expedition with 116000 miles. Originally I was offered $1500 as a trade in and after we threatened to walk out. They raised it to $2000. When I asked what they were going to do with it, I was told it would most likely go to auction. Lo and behold, 2 weeks later, they were selling it for almost $11000. There was no discount for being a returning customer to purchase a telluride and a sorento. As I said, I don’t have a problem with dealerships making money, but I have a big problem with the scam they pulled on us. My daughter like they took advantage of us. In addition there was a $1500 error in their favor because my daughter found that the paperwork did not include the managers special, which was supposed to to take off $5,500. I didn’t even get a referral fee for bringing her in to purchase a new car. The bottom line is this. We both love our cars, but we will not recommend nor will I purchase another car from Jim Bone Kia. Be careful. More
