Explained that I was ready to trade so they didn't try to upsale me on services I would reject at this time anyway. Gave me an estimate of 1.5 to 2 hours for completion of work. Just before the 2 hour mark, it was ready. I stayed at the dealership as they have a very nice waiting area with a cooler full of bottled water, a big screen TV, and the A/C was working which was appreciated since it was 100 degrees outside and I wasn't going to walk the lot to look at new cars. I had a 9:30 appointment for a free oil change and tire rotation for our new Equinox. When I pulled in to check in I was told the right front wheel was out of alignment. I passed since it's a $90 repair rotation for our new Equinox. When I pulled in to check in I was told the right front wheel was out of alignment. I passed since it's a $90 repair and I wasn't sure they could figure that out by me just pulling in to the entrance. An hour and 45 minutes later the car was finally done. I could do the same job at home in about an hour and not have to make about a 30 mile round trip and lose an hour traveling. I looked through the paperwork and saw nothing about needing an alignment and was thinking "great, they tried to scam me".. I was told the car was parked in spot 17. It wasn't. I finally found it in spot 32. I unlocked the car got in and noticed the passenger window was all the way down. Great. I needed to check the oil level and as I was getting out of the car I noticed oil and dirt on the inside of door where the technician probably pushed the door open with his forearm and elbow. I cleaned that up later. I checked the oil level and it was good but there was oil dripped over the pieces that cover the engine. I cleaned that up later. I have yet to check the lug nuts to make sure weren't jammed on so tight that if I have a problem on the road I wouldn't be able to change a tire. When I got home I threw away the plastic seat cover and paper floor mat that was left in the car. I laughed at the question below about did "they" sanitize the vehicle. I apparently have to hit the YES button to recommend this service center. It won't let me hit NO. No is my answer to that question. I don't remember anyone that I dealt with. I have no paper work showing any important information since the printer wasn't working. I did get an email invoice but it just says I got and oil change and tire rotation. Sadly I will leave a phony name. More
I have taken my Silverado to Jim Butler for ALL servicing since I bought it from them in 2012 (20 years). My recent visit resulted in the service dept. charging me $165 for diagnostic labor. Then after findi since I bought it from them in 2012 (20 years). My recent visit resulted in the service dept. charging me $165 for diagnostic labor. Then after finding the problem I was charged another $165 for labor to put the part on and that probably took 10 minutes. I didn't think that was fair and voiced that to the service advisor. He said that's just the way it is. I fell I should be refunded at least 1/2 of the second hour of labor. James Lomax More

I took my truck in a second time for a repair of my tonic cover coming loose on the interstate a total of 4 times in one day on my drive from Missouri to Iowa! All they could tell me, after 2 hours, was they cover coming loose on the interstate a total of 4 times in one day on my drive from Missouri to Iowa! All they could tell me, after 2 hours, was they could not duplicate the problem and let them know if it happens again! More
