Thank you for your feedback. We're sorry to hear you did not enjoy your visit with us. We do appreciate the opportunity to address your complaints. 1. We understand your frustration that the oil change took longer than usual. Our technicians took longer because they found unusual circumstances. When performing the oil change, our technician noticed that the drain plug was loose and leaking from where ever you got it changed the last time - not from us as this was your first visit. Rather than being lazy and leaving it, our tech took the extra hour to thoroughly clean up the mess and replace the drain plug at not cost to you. 2. We were unable to do a diagnostic on your vehicle's running boards for multiple reasons. You would have had to drop your vehicle off to get the diagnostic completed, which would have taken several days. There also would have been a diagnostic charge in order to do this. As Bill attempted (apparently not successfully) to explain that the fuse size that you used would work because the size isn't what matters as much as the amps. The amps of the fuse used were correct. So that wasn't the issue. There isn't anything to 'reset' in the system as you requested. That simply isn't how the running boards work. Doing anything with the fuses to attempt to appease you would do nothing other than make you feel better that we did what you said. We don't want to charge you for something that won't help. We're sorry you interpreted this as laziness. 3. Bill attempted to explain that the appliques that you are having problems with are not something that can just be reattached with a normal adhesive. The adhesive that works for this part is ALREADY ATTACHED to the part when we are sent it from GM. It is quite literally a peel and stick kind of attaching process - but the adhesive is not something that can be purchased separately. Using another kind of adhesive would not ensure that the appliques would even stay on and not otherwise damage your vehicle. This is also why they parts (3 need to be replaced) cost what they do. Again, this is not laziness. This is ensuring that we do the job correctly and don't charge you for something that would ultimately not be in your best interest. We want to assure you that we did the oil change (and more) at your last visit. We understand that you do not want to come back to us. That is certainly your prerogative. But we do hope this additional information makes our intentions much more clear. While we are in the business of customer service, we -above all- do not want to make "repairs" that are unnecessary. We would rather a customer be upset that we didn't do exactly what they wanted us to try, rather than being liars. We wish you safe travels.
