Had tires rotated at Dobbs and found lower right ball joint needed replaced. The technician actually showed me the ball joint. Took vehicle to your trusted dealership where I bought the car and told the joint needed replaced. The technician actually showed me the ball joint. Took vehicle to your trusted dealership where I bought the car and told them what I needed. Your service department ensued to charge me $155 to tell me I need the lower ball joint replaced. Something I already knew. Gave me some astronomical price to do the repair. I took it somewhere else. Bad customer service!!! More

Service was great however, very lengthy. A 90 minute oil change actually took 135 minutes. Wonder how people who WORK ever make this kind of time commitment? And during a super virus outbreak? Leaking water pump I took my car back because it was still leaking from the original service. I have pictures on my phone showing the leak in the exact same area. The dealer did pick up and deliver my car due to the virus. They could not find anything leaking at all. I have driven my car in the area, and so far is fine. I talked with the service advisor and told him I had photos of the leak. He advised me to keep those in case I needed them in the future. More

Service rep Bill Timmons very pleasant and knowledgeable, only negative was took longer than expected (4-5 days) due to covid-19................. I have only had one negative experience @ Jim Butler over the years and that was the service mgr approx 6 months ago I approached after purchasing four new tires @ Butler and upon returning home (same day) had in mailbox a coupon for a discount on tires @ Chevrolet dealer, so I returned to Butler to ask for coupon redemption and service manager very defiantly stated "Must be presented at time of purchase"! I picked up vehicle and paid 30 minutes prior! Was not going to patronize Butler again, but when had A/C problem thought best to use Butler.
