Thank you for sharing your experience with us, Scott. We're sorry to hear that you perceived the HAZMAT charges and the cashier trying to help you as shady. The HAZMAT charge is included in oil changes anywhere you go, as are taxes. The HAZMAT charge covers disposal of the used oil, any rags, various cleaning supplies, oil pan drain plugs or other small items that are routinely needed, etc. While the cashier absolutely should have gotten manager's approval to get any charge removed from your bill, it sounds like she was just trying to make you happy. With regard to multiple things being moved in your vehicle, we do sincerely apologize. That is absolutely not supposed to happen and if it is necessary (for safety) to adjust mirrors or seats, they are to be returned to their original position after service. There is no reason that anything else should have been moved unless possibly by accident (knocking into something or other coincidental situation) and we will be addressing this issue with the technician. We do understand your frustration with the longer than usual wait time and the confusion at check out. We are constantly working to improve our wait times for routine maintenance and we hope that is reflected on your future visits. We also apologize that there was not someone there to get your keys for you. We are in the middle of some big changes to our processes and the construction of our Service Department which has led to some confusion.
