In person service is good, contacting by phone is difficult. Lavar was pleasant, professional and attentive. He took care of my concerns. I called on 4 separate occasions and each time I was told they were busy and must not be answering their phone. The very nice young lady would take my name and number and have someone call me back. Timely return calls were hit and miss, No one called me after my first two messages. I decided to drive the 30 mins to the service center to make my appt. Once I was on their books as an appt, phone calls were still not answered or returned timely, but at least I was able to get the service completed. Overall, the people who work here were very helpful, very nice and very busy. I think the management should have someone dedicated to answering the phone for service who can actually set up the appt without having to wait for someone else to call the customer back. My service issue could have been taken care of more quickly if the calls / connecting up with someone to make an appt was easier. I had just purchased the vehicle from Jim Ellis VW and ran into some issues that made me not so happy. It would be nice if Jim Ellis dealerships worked together more smoothly to make the customer happy. More
