John, I regret to hear about your less than completely satisfied experience at our dealership. I am new here as GM, and we are currently tightening up the processes, communication, and follow through between our sales and service departments. We should have been reaching out to you to schedule the installation of the heated seats and not you having to reach out to us. We also should have communicated with you before, during, and after the installation to ensure we were meeting your needs as well as your preferences in regard to the location of the switch for the seats. I completely understand your frustration, and why you feel like your received lees than exemplary customer service. I have met with everyone on the team that had anything to do with your experience to review every step where we failed to exceed even the most reasonable expectations. I have reached out to our vendor who installed the heated seats, and they said they could take another look at console configuration to see if there was a possible way to install the switch in the console. Depending on the vehicle, there may or may not be room for the wiring and switch to be located in the console, and if not, it should be within reach of your fingertips on the edge of your seat, so you can find it easily while driving. If you would like for me to personally schedule a time to look at the vehicle to double check if it is feasible to put the switch on the console, I would be glad to do so.
