I have purchased many vehicles in my 66 years, but this was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I must admit that I am to blame for being "taken" by Joshua White but this fast talking (literally was absolutely the worst experience I've ever had. I must admit that I am to blame for being "taken" by Joshua White but this fast talking (literally) salesman did exactly that. He told us the vehicle had features that we found out after paying for the vehicle and driving it off the lot, that it did not. At first he denied saying that he told us the car had those features, then later recanted and got the sales manager to talk to us. Greg Cohen, the sales manager, told us he would work with us in finding the car with the features we thought we were getting and that he would call us in a day or two. That is the last we heard from him or from anyone at Cobb County KIA. They also failed to follow thru on filling the tank with a complimentary fillup as they said they would, never called to sehedule the installation of leather seats, or for the headsets that were supposed to be ordered for the entertainment system. Joshua was very emphatic that we go on this website to give him a 5 star rating. He even wrote on the note he gave us to find this website that we should "lie" to make him look good. Well, Joshua gets a 5 star rating for lying alright. I've waited over a week to write this because I wanted to cool off and think about this before I posted it, but my wife and I finally decided that we need to do this. Then before I began writing this I looked thru all of the past ratings and saw the many instances where others described the lying and dishonesty that they experienced. One rating mentioned the Better Business Rating, so I look it up and found that Cobb County KIA has an "F" rating with the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had looked that up before I went there. We went to Cobb KIA with the intention of maybe purchasing a Sorento which I thought was what I wanted. We were met by a very nice young man, Eric Thomason, who proceeded to introduce us to their c purchasing a Sorento which I thought was what I wanted. Eric gave us a thorough review of their other models and I was drawn to the Sportage. It was exactly what I was looking for. Eric was very professional and at the same time easy to talk to. He answered our questions and explained everything thoroughly to us. He was very knowledgeable about the vehicles, very courteous and a pleasure to deal with. We did not feel pressured to buy which means a lot to us. We took a test dirve in the Sportage with my husband driving. During the drive Eric had my husband pull over to let me try it out. Well, I was hooked. When we were getting the paperwork done we met both Tony Benge and Fred Guzowski who were both very pleasant to work with. I feel that we got a good deal and would highly recommend Cobb County KIA if you're in the market for a new car! More
