The technical problem was a dealer installed option that failed, and that cost me $300 to remove. I understand the cost of labor, but given it's the same physical dealership I bought it from (different mana failed, and that cost me $300 to remove. I understand the cost of labor, but given it's the same physical dealership I bought it from (different management) it just didn't 'feel' fair. Also, the battery I ok'd to install was the factory replacement which should have been ~$165 - I was told it was backordered and reluctantly agreed to a napa battery that I could have bought for 135 + tax; ended up costing me ~$200. Given that I verbally agreed to the factory replacement, you could have at least price matched don't you think? I like taking my vehicle to the dealership for factory repairs, but it's the little things listed above that keep me wary. Also, they didn't test the horn because then they would have known I pulled the fuse for it when it went berserk. How many points was that inspection supposed to be?? More
