Kevin was our sales associate and was very nice. He got us in the vehicle right away for a test drive. The finance officer that we signed the papers with was completely unhelpful. Didn't seem to know what paperwork to fill out or how many copies to make. He didn't let us know how to make our car payment or when it was due. He didn't let us know when our trade in would be paid off and he was using someone else's account on the tablet when we filled out the questions. None of this came with an explanation. Also, I came with a preapproval, but according to finance, Capital One did not show me in the system (even though I brought in the print out directly from Capital One). I offered to call them but they seemed disinterested in that. They asked for my permission to pull my credit from Ally and I was hesitant but allowed it. They pulled my credit from 4 separate banks, which I expressed within the first hour of being there that I did not want any other hard credit pulls on my credit (I walked in with a pre-approval after all). The worst part of the experience was the fact that my husband and I were there for 6 hours. This is absolutely unacceptable. I came in with financing in hand, with knowledge of the vehicle I was interested in and the entire process took 6 hours. We were exhausted after the entire situation. I won't ever be recommending anyone to Jim Ellis because of our experience. However, Kevin was very sweet and I didn't have any issues with him whatsoever. More
