Purchased tires for my Prius in 2021 because of the tire warranty. Service dept did not put me on their schedule twice even though I had sch two appointments. Gave my husband a last minute same day app for warranty. Service dept did not put me on their schedule twice even though I had sch two appointments. Gave my husband a last minute same day app for oil change and tire rotation, the low tire pressure light was on. Husband got half way home and saw the tire light still on, turned around went back.Victoria ended up telling him she looked at the tires and said they are fine ,that in order to do a diagnostic test it would cost $170 to find out if the sensor is defective. I bought tires from Jim Ellis again( second time) because of the lifetime warranty. Please help me understand how I can be confident that I’m not losing air in the tires what with the light on. I don’t even know if they tried to reset the sensor. I would like this matter revisited as it is not safe to travel on vacation with the tire sensor light on. Please contact me with a text to 678 8521698 as I am at work in healthcare and can not take calls. I can not possibly pay $170 for a diagnostic test that you may come back and say “0h it’s defective and will cost you this much”. The worst service from start to finish. The only bright spot was the service advisor, Patricia. She was 5-star material. I first requested to ride along for the test drive. Didn't honor that request even though the service advisor wrote it on the order. Then came back with the reason why my car was making noise and shaking at high way speeds. Total asinine diagnosis. I am not a mechanic but I know foolishness when I see it. Kayla, the tech had a bad attitude. Asked why I couldn't ride along and she gave me some bs answer. I left without paying for sich a worthless diagnosis and a ridiculous amount to be charged for the supposed fix. Went down the street to Alpha Automotive. Got it diagnosed properly and fixed for one tenth of your cost. Get more experienced people or people who are supervised better to diagnose. I don't have money to waste on a bogus diagnosis. Kayla also needs to work on her customer service skills. She has none! More
