I had an early morning appointment on a Saturday... but my salesman had an emergency and was late. While I waited two managers talked to me about my car needs. They really listened to what I wanted and didn't want. When my salesman got there they'd already steered me towards the perfect car for me. My salesman took me on an extended test drive. We drove to my home and my job to see how the car would handle on the roads that I actually drive. To make up for being late he even took me out to lunch where he made a really good pitch for the car, but not too aggressive. By the time we got back to town I was sold. It was truly a team effort to get me into the perfect car for me. At first I was irritated that he was late, but in the end, the car was definitely worth the wait.
