We are a family run Chevrolet dealer located in Fairfax, VA. We serve the Alexandria, Fairfax, Arlington, Sterling, Chantilly communities by delivering certified used cars in addition to new car sales. Due to our large network of financing institutions, our client area includes Washington D.C. and Maryland including the Baltimore area. This dealership was founded on 1956 and has tried to be the best used and new car dealership in the Northern Virginia region. Peggy Thomas, Ms. McKay and I attempted to make contact with you quite a few times and are still awaiting you're response. You're tags were delayed because you never did give us a title for your trade in vehicle used to make this purchase. The trade in still belongs to you until you give us the title. We made delivery of the new car but we can not move forward & process tags until we receive you're trade in title. Mr. Hughey, I apologize if there was any confusion with the sale. I pulled your deal and it states that $500 was indeed due at the time of sale, right above the $750 USAA rebate you received for being a USAA customer. You're signature throughout the deal states that you did indeed see & agree to the following. My mother-in-law Ms.McKay herself put your plates on for you, and was ecstatic to congratulate you and be a part of the sale herself. It is hurtful to see such a happy customer speak so poorly of us claiming a lack of integrity on our behalf. We would like to resolve this issue internally and come to a conclusion on where we went wrong. Mr.Crawford, The issue was that we were specifically told by your sales agent that no money was due as a down payment. With that said do you really think your sales agent would allow us to take the car off the lot without collecting the down payment from us? Of course not, because he never asked for it. So when I was called for the $500 dollars I did in fact go back and look at the paperwork and did see like you stated that it was there to my suprise. What I did not appreciate was being told that the owner was calling your sales associate directly for the money. He made the mistake, own up to it and don't try to guilt me into action. We came down the following weekend and made the payment. When I arrived our sales agent was not availible and they asked me to wait. As you can certainly imagine my time is important to me so I asked to give the check to one of your other sales agents so I could leave. The agent took the payment and I left. I would have thought I would get a call from our assigned agent to thank us for coming down. Instead an assistant called me and asked where the payment was on his behalf. Obviously he did not check in with his staff to see that we already made the payment. This type of communication does not make me feel like a valued customer at all. I am NOT a happy customer and simply wanted a good old fashioned apology no strings attached. All we would like is for someone to call us and apologize.
