Extended warranty I bought a car from jim shorkey in north hills 2 years ago. At the time of purchase i bought a extended warranty through the mechanic. Well come to fi I bought a car from jim shorkey in north hills 2 years ago. At the time of purchase i bought a extended warranty through the mechanic. Well come to find out they charged me 2100 dollars and never submitted this warranty. So i called 2 weeks ago and spoke with management about this situation and its still not taken care of. So my car is in the shop now and of course they dont have loaner cars. Nor do they provide rental cars by far the worst car dealership ever. And they have the nerve too charge a deductible for 100 dollars even if its under warranty smh. On top of all that they said they dont know if they are going to get to fix my car today even tho i dropped it off so i will probably have to miss another day of work. More
Opportunistic Scam Took my fiance's 2014 Jeep for a recall under factory warranty and yearly state inspection since she was out of town. Apparently they must have saw her name one the registration and thought they could take advantage of her. Was called and told the Jeep failed inspection and would cost $3,800 in order to pass. I know a thing or two about cars and do all my work myself, and obviously I don't have the authority to pass a car for inspection, but there is no way. Some of the scams: $400 for rear pads and rotors ($150 ALL AROUND if I do it myself) $50 for wiper blades because they "streak" ($20 online) $70 for new washer nozzles ($10 on Ebay, 5 minute install) $300 for an axle seal replacement ($20 for the seal and a two-hour job for me to do it) $400 for a "leaking" strut ($150 and a $30 spring compressor rental for me) $1,400 for a leaking rack and pinion (around $400 from a shop and a couple hours in a warm garage) Mind you there has never been a leak found on this vehicle whenever I was under it to change the oil or wash it, and I there has been zero issues with steering, suspension, or any mechanical issues. I will never go back to this dealership for the reasons above. The Jeep is 5 years old and driven by a timid woman on city streets. There is no possible way there is almost $4,000 worth of service needed in order to pass inspection. As cliche as this sounds, do yourself a favor and receive an inspection at another shop, because if you know nothing about cars they will take advantage of you in a heartbeat. Very disappointed. More

Do yourself a favor and buy somewhere else! Purchased new 2017 2500 Ram Big Horn in September last year. Lots of recalls. Truck also needed a new set of tires at 13,000 miles. Unbelievable! I decided to trade truck in on new 1500. During the trade in process dealer told me that the title was “branded”. I had no idea what this meant but he told me that this ussually happens after an accident when major repairs had to be made. The title was marked this way at Shorkey I was told. There was no mention of this to either my wife or me during the sales process. The other dealer told me that this severely affects the trade in value. Had I known this truck was like this at the beginning I would have never bought it! This guys can’t be trusted More

Went here with full intention of buying a brand new car on Saturday, a 64,000 car in fact, we were told numbers by JP the LOYALTY BRAND MANAGER, we left feeling optimistic but needed a couple days to look at some other vehicles. We went back that week on Wednesday and were told a completely different story- ridiculous monthly payments, about 1400 a month on a lease with money down and excellent credit HAHAHAAH. It was actually laughable. We called JP on Thursday the following day after he told us on Saturday oh we will take care of you, I will get you whatever deal you need, I want you as a customer.. BLAH BLAH BLAH, Well JP answered promised a return call on the following day between 11:30-12:30.. SHOCKING NO CALL, so we called him, HE IGNORED THE CALL. I have never dealt with such poor management and customer service in my life. STAY CLASSY JIM SHORKEY More

Apparently Nick doesn't have access to money cost and other lease information. Nick had my current loan payment, my negative equity, which we agreed on TODAY when I went in person, the amount I was putting down, and the lease terns I wanted... Coincidentally the day after spoke with Nick last, when I went to the dealership today, he was " off sick". I told the salesman today, Brian, "I don't play the game, give me your best price, and we'll go from there. I'm not playing the back and forth game." Their best price on a 36 month lease on a Grand Cherokee, 10K miles annually, rolling over my $3,500 negative equity? I kid you not... ** $946 a month **! On a $40,000 vehicle! And the sales manager couldn't understand why I was so upset off. Typical bait-and-switch. Go see Don at Monroeville at least he acknowledged what I needed and got very, very close. I know I'll be calling him back. More

It's pretty sad when you are trying to check out a new truck and the first word you hear when you get in is p*ssy and the salesman just let's it play. Followed by telling me the discounted price on the truck I came to look at was the "internet price" and was only available if I qualified for the incentives. So I drove 2 hours to look at a truck that was priced good online only to find out it was actually $10,000 more expensive. More
