The most terrible customer service you could possibly imagine. They called me and told me they knew it was wrong with my truck and after spending $1400 on it it ran no better than it did when I brought i imagine. They called me and told me they knew it was wrong with my truck and after spending $1400 on it it ran no better than it did when I brought it in. They told me that they would give me a rental truck so that they could check my truck out again and fix it they never called me back and I had to call them and they still didn’t have a truck and never reached out to me to tell me anything. I finally settled for an SUV .So once it was back in the service center they called me and wanted more money to find out what was wrong with it and throw more parts at it at my cost with no discount whatsoever. Their service is terrible their technicians are terrible. Do not take your vehicle to this dealership unless you just want to throw money in the toilet. Would not recommend this place that anyone More

Service took 6 visits to do a tune up right & put in 2 tires. They put a dent in the rear passenger door (I had just had the car repainted) and said they would fix it - I sent them pictures of it and they tires. They put a dent in the rear passenger door (I had just had the car repainted) and said they would fix it - I sent them pictures of it and they agreed… then back pedaled when I brought it in for the repair of their mistake. I bought a 2020 Chevrolet Tahoe from Jim Trenary Chevrolet in April 2020. I took my Tahoe in for an oil change and tire rotation on 3/17/2021 and they ruined my wheels. Brand new Tahoe with real Chevrolet in April 2020. I took my Tahoe in for an oil change and tire rotation on 3/17/2021 and they ruined my wheels. Brand new Tahoe with really nice all black glossy 22" wheels and when they pulled my car out I noticed severe gashes in the black wheels. It was in the middle area near the lug nuts so definitely was damage from a tool or someone hit my wheel with something somehow. It's nowhere near the edge by the tire so couldn't have come from a curb or anything else. The location and timing is for sure from slipping or tool mark gashing my wheel while changing tire rotation. You could even see that someone tried to rub them off but the gashes were permanent. I didn't even drive off the lot and I showed the service guy. He took pictures and agreed with me that it was bad. But after speaking to his service manager they claimed they could not 100% say that they caused the damage and would not fix my wheels. I told them the damage was not there when I drove in 2 hours prior and it had not left the lot. I called and left several messages with the General Manager Eric Cargill as well and never even got a call back or a response. I left a clear, precise reason why I was calling, service dates, my issue and never even got a response. I have never had such a bad experience at a dealer before. You'd think when you buy a brand new car from a dealer they'd try to keep you as a repeat customer. This was my third Tahoe I have purchased in the last several years but my first and last time at Jim Trenary Chevrolet. I will not be back as a customer. I will do my service and buy my future Tahoe's at Lou Fusz Chevrolet in St. Peters, MO. I purchased my last two Tahoe's from Lou Fusz and did all my previous service and maintenance with them as well. More
We were told that the brakes squeaking on a brand new 2020 Traverse High Country was normal. Every time my wife backs out of our driveway or a parking spot the brakes squeal. My wife told them about it 2020 Traverse High Country was normal. Every time my wife backs out of our driveway or a parking spot the brakes squeal. My wife told them about it the last time she was up there and they pretty much blew her off. I told her not to leave today until they fix the squeaky brakes. The guy seriously told her that is normal at low speeds and they can't do anything about it unless it happens at higher speeds. I was unaware that squeaky brakes was a "normal" thing on a brand new top of the line vehicle. I called another dealer and was told it's a know problem and to bring it to them and they would fix it. It's really weird that I only notice this on our vehicle when apparently this is "normal." WHAT A JOKE!!!! More

If you are getting ready to buy a car from Jim Trenary heed these words. If you love the car so much that you just have to have it, and are willing to sign, know up front that as soon as you sign, you are heed these words. If you love the car so much that you just have to have it, and are willing to sign, know up front that as soon as you sign, you are no longer a valuable customer. The service is rude, disrespectful of your time and couldn’t care less if you have a decent experience. The flip, nonchalante attitude is infuriating! I don’t have the time or the patience to write all the issues I’ve had with this dealership after buying a truck from them a month ago. All I can say, is “Run as fast as you can!” More
Liars and Scammers Bought a new car in May, all of the paperwork was signed and filled out, little did I know they would be tacking on gap insurance as well as the exten Bought a new car in May, all of the paperwork was signed and filled out, little did I know they would be tacking on gap insurance as well as the extended warranty without telling me and with out my written permission. Got a notice from the bank I financed through with the loan amount being $5000 more than what I was told it was going to be. Went it to get it fixed and was told by Matt their finance guy that "we thought you wanted it" and "well if you don't want the warranty on your car that's your problem" EXCUSE ME??? Unprofessional and flat out rude. When I put in a complaint I got a call from their sales manager Eric asking what the problem was and I told him. His response? "Oh maybe you signed it and forgot about it." I think the xxxx not, the paperwork I had, had NOTHING saying the gap insurance and extended warranty were being put on. On top of that Eric decided he was going to email the fiance people about it, and then he accidentally sent the chain to me where they were talking xxxx about me and saying I had "Malone gas and go regret" and "I am asking her about what she supposedly didn't want." "You need to re-sell them on whatever they bought. They bought it once you can get them to buy it again (aka keep it in the contract)" LOL funny how that was never in the contract. I will NEVER be returning More
