I am beyond frustrated. I got a oil change and it wasn’t done correctly so all my oil leaked out and I can’t drive it all weekend. It took almost a hour to be done so I don’t understand. I have made three trips to Jim White Toyota to complete recall service for passenger side airbag. I have been pursuing this recall for some time, but when going online it was impossible to determine where recall service for passenger side airbag. I have been pursuing this recall for some time, but when going online it was impossible to determine where to take the truck, so I went to the service center myself. The first time I was told by it would require two hours. So I said I would call back for an appointment. I also tried to make an appointment by telephone without success. I stopped by a second time, only to be informed it would take a whole day and I would have to rent a vehicle. I declined, but later received a call that a loaner car would be provided so I made the appointment again. I made arrangements to defer obligations and clean out the cab of the truck so I could arrive early in the morning. I arrived at the service center at 8 AM, as scheduled, but was told that they would probably have to keep the vehicle more than a day. Given their record to date, I had no reason to believe they could accomplish the task before the weekend, so I canceled again. I don't intend to reschedule. I have already been inconvenienced enough for a recall that I had no hand in perpetrating in the first place. I still intend to hold Toyota responsible if the airbag deploys. Toyota used to be the best company in the business, but apparently they have been operating in the U.S. Too long and have picked up some very bad habits. More
Took my car in at 3pm to be serviced the next day. Was told to wait til a Mgr "got out of mtg" to take me home. After over an hour they said the car got fixed instead.
