Thank you so much for taking the time to leave us a review, we truly appreciate it! Hearing from our guests is how we learn where we need improvement. After reading your review, I went tot he Service Department to find out what happened and to see the inspection of your service. Your brakes pads are still good, which is great to know! However, your rotors are worn. This is probably why you are hearing grinding. If you would like to have your rotors replaced, please give me a call and I will get that service scheduled for you. I believe there was a miscommunication between you and the Service Writer. He thought you were both discussing the dome light that is out in your CR-V, not your brakes. It is unacceptable that he turned you away for the dome light, I apologize for that. The GM and myself have spoken with the Service Writers and let them know they are not to turn away a guest for any reason and that we do have technicians that can work on makes other than Toyota. In conclusion, I apologize for the miscommunication and frustration. I do hope that you will consider coming back to us for the maintenance of your CR-V. Thank you for your review! We truly appreciate the time you took to do it and your business. We're happy Service kept you updated on your appointment. We switched to appointments for maintenance on January 1, 2018 because we were experience large volumes of walk-ins for maintenance. The volume was leading to our guests having to wait for two or more hours for an oil change and tire rotations. We want to respect our guests' valuable time and make their wait time as limited possible. It is still possible to walk-in, but there could be a longer wait time and unfortunately, Service cannot always accommodate walk-ins. Again, thank you for taking time out of your day to leave us a 5 star review!
