Question Training of Tech. Was told that front bumper of my 2014 Grand Jeep Cherokee had to be removed in order to replace drivers side low beam head light, and that the labor w Was told that front bumper of my 2014 Grand Jeep Cherokee had to be removed in order to replace drivers side low beam head light, and that the labor was 1.5 hours to perform. The day before I google the procedure on how to replace the head light and taking the front bumper off the vehicle was not the way to perform this task. The head light is replaced by removing the breather box which allows access to the rear of the light. So instead of it taking 1.5 hours the repair took .5 hours. On a separate note, would like to say the call center answering service is not working well. I would rather call directly to the service department to schedule services. It took me several attempts to schedule an appointment. More
Went to get bolt fixed, job wasn't done and time wasn't righ I went to get a bolt fixed on my Jeep after having an oil leak repaired. I called on Tuesday of the previous week to see if the part was sent in and t I went to get a bolt fixed on my Jeep after having an oil leak repaired. I called on Tuesday of the previous week to see if the part was sent in and the customer service rep said it had not come in and that he would call when it did. It came in Friday, but I had to call the following Monday to check on the bolt delivery. He apologized for being busy and forgetting and we scheduled for 3pm on Tuesday to replace the bolt. I was told it would be a 30 min. job and I would be in and out. I went on Tuesday and was greeted and taken care of in a well manner, BUT after about 20 min. the customer service rep came in and explained that the tech told him it was a 2 hour job and that it couldn't be done. I asked if they had a loaner and he replied with that they did not due to just lending out the last one. I informed him that he would need to call me when he received a loaner i could use (because at this point I am not sure if this is a 30 min job, 2 hour job or a 2 day job) and we would schedule an appointment. I am not sure if the communication between the front desk and the shop is clear or if someone is taking/adding time on the "bolt fixing". either way it was a bit of a waste of time and gas. :( More
