Service with Service Advisor JEFF was very good... They found a problem on my 2019 volt that Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore, NY could not find. But in an unrelated issue, the sales manager Mr. LeCastre is found a problem on my 2019 volt that Paddock Chevrolet in Kenmore, NY could not find. But in an unrelated issue, the sales manager Mr. LeCastre is very obnoxious.... First he uses the OLD DEALER TRICK of saying he couldn't do anything since he just got out of the hospital... Whether true or not, he should have delegated the problem I had with my 2022 Chevy BOLT EUV just purchased in June 29, 2021 and I was due an EMAIL FROM GM stating what my authorization code was. This is per GM's FAQs of how to handle the EVGO charging credit due as purchase of a new electric vehicle, and is a GM requirement that this email FROM GM be sent to me, which still has yet to happen. Finally, he tired of dealing with me, and sent an email with a code - which time will tell whether this is the right code or not.. I asked if this would suffice as to the official requirements, and Mr. LeCastre said -no- we are just a 'dealer' and not an 'authorized representative. But in the meantime, he constantly criticizes my totally factual explanations and says silly nonsense such as "I'm offended that you are talking down to me" when such characterizations are all in his head and he constantly tries to intimidate me.... Since they record all conversations it is easy to see how he has constantly put words in my mouth - basically to cover his inaction on my problem, which frankly should have been addressed when they first were advised about it, not hanging on for months later... I didn't tell him this, but this is why people in general HATE auto dealers with their obnoxious representatives.. Perhaps his 'standard intimidation routine' works on other customers - causing them to shrivel up, but it just infuriates me. I asked to have this problem escalated several times, but Mr. LeCastre never would - quite obviously since it would reflect poorly on him. So 4-5 stars for service, 1 star for sales. More
