Saturday morning after babysitting, I contemplated that if I made a left turn I could get bedding straw; however, if I made a right turn, I could address the vehicle dilemma. Thank goodness at the last second I took the right turn and arrived at Joe Bullard Car Dealership. Many personal factors had created a profound dread, but the Bullard staff quickly allayed my fears. Overall, we received exemplary customer service from our Salesman Simmie, Andrew the sales manager, and the paperwork master Mr. Roosevelt. Initially, we were a bit dubious. The wait time on our initial visit was a bit lengthy. I do take into account that we showed up at lunchtime on a Friday (not the best time for expediency, anywhere). The reason I note this is that we arrived with a particular vehicle in mind, cash in hand, with a loan approval from our bank. They knew this, but we still waited 3 hours for a loan out test drive over the weekend. Most of the staff did not appear to be otherwise engaged at that time. However, when we brought the car back, we were greeted and received nothing but top-notch customer service. Their finance man Mr. Roosevelt beat our bank's APR by a solid 5 points, and sales manager Andrew and our rep Simmie made sure that everything sat well with the deal. All in all, we got a great car at the right price, and ended up financing less than we expected to. We've had excellent follow up customer service, and are very happy with our new vehicle, along with the service and maintenance contracts that are standard with Joe Bullard pre-owned transactions. Brandon was not pushy, harsh or any term normally associated with a "car salesman". He seemed so down to earth and sincere when he told us the good/bad/and ugly of each vehicle we looked at. I did my homework online and then went to 3 different dealerships in Mobile. For some reason I kept going back to Joe Bullard Cadillac. One of the first things i noticed was the professionalism of the staff and the beauty of the showroom. Another reason I liked the dealership was the music playing in the showroom. All of the employees are personable and easy to get to know and appreciate. Everyone I met at the dealership was professional, kind and considerate. Jake was my salesman and he was knowledgeable as well as so much fun to work with. I am sure this blonde headed lady tried his patience but he never visibly indicated that i was a pain to deal with. I also worked with Moose when Jake was out and he was as knowledgeable and as kind as Jake. So now I have two salesman. Doug in Finance was great with the paperwork and made the financial transaction a breeze. Andrew the Sales Manager was also a pleasure to work with even through some tough negotiations to get the price I wanted and for the dealership to still make some money. I have to also give a mention of Brandon, Simmie and Matt who were equally outstanding with my questions and always had a smile when I showed up. My shopping experience took 21 days to finally make a purchase. I wanted to make sure i purchased the right car after driving SUVs for the last 11 years. I am familiar with the Joe Bullard advertisements on TV with the slogan, "we are Joe Bullard." This is not only a great marketing slogan but you also the truth, you feel like family when you walk through those double doors.
