My elderly mother and stepfather, who are both 80 years old, were purchasing a truck. Before we even sat down, we made it crystal clear that they did not want an extended warranty and did not want to be pressured about one. Despite that, Cameron continued pushing the warranty repeatedly for almost an hour. I even told him that I understood warranties are an important source of profit for dealerships and that I understood he was doing his job, but I asked him to please stop because we were simply not interested. Instead, he told me that the dealership makes “no money” from the warranties, which I believe was completely untrue. After almost an hour of being pressured, I firmly told him, “We are not interested. Please stop trying to sell it.” His response was extremely disrespectful. He told me, “I’m talking to the buyers. You are not a buyer,” and then told me I could leave his office. He was essentially trying to wear my parents down to make a sale, and he viewed me as interfering with that process. I was there specifically to help my elderly parents understand the paperwork and make sure there were no misunderstandings and they were not taken advantage of We were customers, and we deserved basic courtesy and respect. Offering a product is one thing; repeatedly pushing it after a customer has clearly said no multiple times and then becoming confrontational when asked to stop is unacceptable. I even went to the general manager, Ty, and asked him to tell Cameron to stop. He said okay, but then did absolutely nothing and walked back into his office. The sales staff treated us well, but Cameron in finance completely ruined what should have been a positive buying experience. I feel that my elderly parents are owed a phone call and an apology from upper management. This is simply not how customers should be treated, especially after spending $38,000. What would have been a five-star rating for Joe Cooper turned into a one-star rating because of the decision to employ someone like Cameron Weir. More

Ty the GM worked with the trade and price to get where I felt comfortable. That is two vehicles in a row I have purchased from Joe Cooper Dodge. More

Alma had the truck ready to test drive when we arrived and was a professional throughout the entire process. The sales manager Ty worked with us to get the deal we needed and delivered on the three small issues with the vehicle prior to purchase. Financial piece of the process went smoothly also. I have purchased many vehicles in my past, and this transaction was as enjoyable as a car purchase can be. More
