I will not be going back. I had a fantastic experience with Sales, they found me what I want with perfect customer service. The issue I have is with their service department. More specifically the techs there. Now the ladies that take payments and set up appointments are wonderful. I bought my car on Monday, June 14, 2021. Since that day, my car has been in the shop there twice. There was a vibration in the car, that didn’t start until the second day we had it, there was an alignment issue that caused the car to pull hard to the left, and there was a transmission issue. The first time we brought it in, the only addressed the vibration problem. They seemed to have fixed that, however they failed to even look at the alignment of transmission despite having my car all day. We were very upset with them after we picked up my car, and we went to speak with Randy in sales to complain that our vehicle was still improperly serviced. We ended up running into Josh and he went straight back to service and got us another appointment. The second appointment was yesterday, Monday, June 21, 2021. I dropped my car off at 8:30, and it wasn’t done until 4:20. I spoke with the service tech that was working on my car and he assured me that he had “fixed” the alignment of the car, and that the transmission never stuttered for him the three times he drove it. So I didn’t say anything because I was immensely angry. I went to service to let our salesman know it had nothing to do with him or anyone besides the service techs. While driving my car, after it was “fixed” I notice that it is still pulling to the left and the transmission is still stuttering which is magically did not do for them. I’m very upset by my experience and the fact that my car was was still not fixed. The car is still having the issues. I will not be going back to Joe Machens, because of this. To the rest of the dealership departments. I apologize that this review reflects poorly on you, it’s unfortunate that the service department is dragging you down with them. More
I had an issue with my car & if it hadn't been for Eric Ahart it would have been extremely hard for me to get my car taken care of. He went above & beyond helping me. I have always had good service with Ma Ahart it would have been extremely hard for me to get my car taken care of. He went above & beyond helping me. I have always had good service with Machen Ford but Eric made it easy for me to get my problem solved. I am 75 years old & therefore things can get overwhelming but with Eric's help ...he made it very easy to handle. Thank you Eric. More

The cashier staff and courtesy van staff were very nice and helpful but that is where it ended. I had an appointment in advance so that I could ensure that I could complete this car task without interrupt and helpful but that is where it ended. I had an appointment in advance so that I could ensure that I could complete this car task without interruption of my evening. I dropped my car off 2 hours early and returned to work. I called 1 hour after my appointment and left a message with the person that was supposed to be in charge of my car. No response. 2 hours later I called again and was on hold for several minutes before I was told that my car was just now being pulled in. When asked why it wasn't done at the appointment time, I was told that if it was dropped off for an appointment "we have until closing time to get it done" but if I am waiting at the facility then it would have come first. That is poor business. An appointment is an appropriate. No one was honest with me about why it was not completed. My keys were never matched with the tag that was placed in my car. Is this common practice?! My keys and life on that key ring could have easily been lost. I have tried Ford service in the past and was frustrated but thought I would give it one more shot. Never again. More

Since they moved the service department across the street, even with an appointment an oil change takes 2 hours. I tried to get the oil changed somewhere else and they couldn't get the filter off beca street, even with an appointment an oil change takes 2 hours. I tried to get the oil changed somewhere else and they couldn't get the filter off because the Ford tech put it in so tight and crooked. I had to take it to Ford. Shameful. More
