Slow service with very little communication. A typical inspection for tags took 2 hours. I arrived at my appointed time thinking 30 minutes and sat amongst 15 people for close to 2 hours with my daughter inspection for tags took 2 hours. After several frustrating days of trying to figure out the source of my transmission electronic control problem, I had the car towed from another repa After several frustrating days of trying to figure out the source of my transmission electronic control problem, I had the car towed from another repair shop to Joe Machens Capital City Ford. Of course they could be expected to be knowledgeable about Ford vehicles, but I was still pleasantly surprised when they diagnosed and fixed the issue in only slightly more than 24 hours after the car was brought in. Not only that, they knew that the drive train was still under the car's warranty and did the work without cost to me. A win-win! More

Easy way to solve--talk to the customer I brought my car in for an oil change and to have my tires rotated. When the technician moved my car after the work was finished, he bumped my garage I brought my car in for an oil change and to have my tires rotated. When the technician moved my car after the work was finished, he bumped my garage door opener on the visor causing it to land on the floor in the backseat. He was unsure was he bumped, and didn't say anything to anyone. When I got home, I went to push my garage door opener and it was missing. I checked the floor on both sides and called the dealership. This is when Angela went and asked the technician. He said he bumped something but checked to make sure there wasn't anything on the ground outside my car. I ended finding the remote in the back seat on the floor. If he would have said something when I picked up my car, it would have been appreciated. I was not very happy when I got home and couldn't find it. If I had been told he bumped something, I would have been able to find it there. Obviously the technician knew he had bumped something, but failed to say anything. It's better to be preventative rather than going back and saying oh yes-- I did this but didn't know what I bumped. More
