2019 F-150 responded

Received a call and was told they put the correct oil in. I did the research and requested a call from the service manager. Service manager did not call but requested the service advisor call me back. The Ford system was found to be recommending the wrong oil. I had already changed the oil back to a non-warranty voiding oil. They offered a refund of my original oil change cost. I’m not sure that’s going to make this debacle right? I have not received my refund yet....we shall see. Update: After being offered a refund, Capital City Ford now says they can not refund. They then offered a coupon for free oil, tire rotation, and checkup. I received the coupon, which is only for and oil change. No contact from the manager as requested. I’ll be going to Fulton Ford for my service and purchase needs.

We are sorry to read about your experience, we certainly don't want any of our customers to have anything less than 5 star treatment. We do apologize for the confusion regarding the bill. Our cashiers are used to charging for service packages since that is they way the services are bundled. This is most likely the reason that this occurred. But, you are correct, each service bill needs to be looked at thoroughly for any changes to the packages. We will forward your comments to our General Manager for his review and so he is aware of it. All our customers need to be treated with respect and courtesy, never do we want them to leave here feeling like they were an annoyance. Our apologies.

We do understand your frustration at the rising costs of service. Unfortunately, we do not set our own service prices. Being a Ford dealership we are required to follow the Ford pricing structure. Our oil change service includes the oil change, vehicle inspection to see if there are any safety or service issues that should be addressed, tire check and proper inflation, among other services. We do our best to provide a value for our customers in terms of preventative services and safety checks. We hope this provides a little insight into the current pricing. We do appreciate your business.
