Bought a used truck, a week and half later the rear shock absorber snapped. Theyve had the truck for two weeks now and still haven't fixed the issue which only takes a hour according to the labor book. They don't return my calls or keep me up to date on the process. I had to call and check. I haven't even paid sales tax or my first truck payment on the pickup, and they had it in there possession longer then I've owned it. The only thing they've tried to do to compensate me for trouble is a free oil change. Also during the negotiation of trade and purchasing the vehicle they already started the process of finding a bank and payment without me agreeing on my trade in value. I didn't find out what they gave me until I was with the finance manager. Luckily I was happy with the trade value just didn't appreciate it that they didn't run it by me before hand. I'd watch for certain things like that for the next people who go in. Now the salesman I worked with was friendly and is still helpful, he's the only person I'd speak to from this point forward. We decided to go on a Saturday and if we heard what we like we would probably purchase. We found the Elantra GT on the lot that we have been looking at and Alex subsequently found us. He did a great job showing us the vehicle, explaining all of the amenities and answering our questions. While I planned to be the primary driver of the vehicle Alex did a great job of answering my wife's questions and concerns as well. The whole process was easy and we were very pleased with the price and customer service we received. More

He took the time to answer all questions and even walked me to the service department where he introduced me to the head technician. I ended getting an excellent deal on a 2013 Hyundai Elantra. Even after my purchase, Rob still assisted me by topping off the gas to my new car, sending it to get cleaned, and transferring my plates from my old car. We did our homework and had our choices down to two brands and drove them both. The Sonata was by far the better car for us. George Madison and Alex Petrovic worked hard to get us into our 2015 Sonata Sport 2.0T. We are now looking forward to the great service and support that as Hyundai owners we have come to expect from Machens Hyundai. All of the staff are professional and respectful and treat us well every time we are in the dealership. The service and professional attention that they provide throughout the organization is impressive and very refreshing. Fantastic Service I was so impressed with my latest service for my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe (which is my usual experience). I took my car in for a warranty issue, which t I was so impressed with my latest service for my 2009 Hyundai Santa Fe (which is my usual experience). I took my car in for a warranty issue, which turned out to not be an issue at all. I saw a corroded part on the service tech's desk that said it was from another Santa Fe with 40,000 miles on it. My vehicle has 60,000 miles on it and the gas mileage was declining. I inquired about the part and Andrew told me that the vehicle needed a fuel suppression system cleaning. I went ahead and asked for the service as this was probably what has been causing my low fuel mileage. I had missed the first shuttle run when I dropped off my car. While I was waiting for the driver to come back, it started to get little late, so I asked when they might come back as I had to get to work. Andrew arranged for another employee, Rebecca (she works on warranty paperwork), to take me. I was able to get to work without having to work extra time, which means a lot to me as my schedule is always booked full. I can't remember the shuttle driver's name that picked me up, but truly everything was great about this service from beginning to end. I have used Joe Machens Hyundai for service for the past three years. I think they are excellent at what they do and how they do it - always with a smile and with compassion. More
Very Poor Customer Service I bought a 2013 Elantra GT. It took 2 months to get the title and paperwork so I could get the car licensed. Not one single employee ever called me to notify me of the delay or offer an explaination! I made many calls to the dealership, visited in person and was basically brushed off. I'd already made 2 payments before I could license the vehicle. HEADS UP TO THE DEALERSHIP: Please get customer service training for all your employees. More
