Single young woman take advantage of by service rep. I brought my vehicle in for an alignment after having new tires put on my 2016 VW Touareg. After having waited for 2 and a half hours for what was sup I brought my vehicle in for an alignment after having new tires put on my 2016 VW Touareg. After having waited for 2 and a half hours for what was supposed to be a 3 hour job I get a call that they only changed my oil for me (which I also requested) but they couldn't align my vehicle because it was so far out of alignment it would now be a 7 hour job so they could also realign all the adaptive sensors on the vehicle because of how far it was out the sensors would need to be synced as well. This now brought my total to $599.99 when I was originally told my alignment would be $350. We had to make another appointment for this new extensive alignment to take place. In the mean time i am extremely upset over the new cost and believe I've been sold a wrecked vehicle. I visit the dealership where i purchased the vehicle (Bob Stockton that used to work at VW, now at Bob McCosh) states the vehicle has never been in a wreck and recommends I get a second opinion. I made an appointment with Mercedes of Columbia, dropped my vehicle with them and they had my car aligned within 3 hours and only charged me 129.95 for the total bill. I discussed with the service rep at Mercedes what I experienced at VW and they stated they've never heard of having to sync the sensors for an alignment, also that my car was not that far out of alignment anyhow. I can not state how furious and dissatisfied I am with all the service reps at Joe Machens VW and Joe Machens dealerships as a whole. I will never again bring my vehicle to a Joe Machens dealership and I will never purchase another vehicle from a Joe Machens dealership. I am taking this exact review and posting it on Facebook and letting all of Missouri know that Joe Machens dealerships take advantage of women. I hope this brings light to other women who have had the same experience as me. My whole experience with Joe Machens VW has left a bad taste in my mouth and I will see to it that that this does not go unnoticed. More

Horrible service My sister went in on friday (6/15/18) to get approved on the car she was going to get. I wouldnt be intown untill 6/20/18 to co-sign on the paper work My sister went in on friday (6/15/18) to get approved on the car she was going to get. I wouldnt be intown untill 6/20/18 to co-sign on the paper work. They knew we would there at 3-3:30pm on Wednesday 6/20/18 to finish the paperwork. That had all day to get the paperwork done and printed out and ready for us to sign and leave. We showed up at 3:15pm and Bruce was helping another costumer. After 20 minutes he was done with the other customer. Bruce told my sister that they had to finish printing out the paperwork an we can then sign and get the car after it was done being detailed. So we sat, 1 hour later still waiting to sign. They came up to us and said the paperwork was almost done and the car was next to be detailed. So we waited again. 2 hours have went by and the paperwork was not done, and the car was still being detailed. Me as the co-signer had a baby 1 month ago an it was getting time for me to pump. With swollen and full boobs I've had enough, I live 1hour an 30 minutes away. There was a storm coming and I wanted to leave before it hit. When the rain started coming down I had to run outside and roll my Windows up. In doing so I passed Bruce and the Financial guys in the office goofing off and laughing. After waiting 2 hours and 30 minutes I left to go home cause I had to pump. 25 minutes after I left I got a text from my sister saying they were ready to sign an if I could come back. I said no an they could have come one come up to my work for me to sign. I've waited almost 2 weeks for some one to call me and tell me a day they would head my way. (I dont come to columbia alot) my sister contacted Bruce asking why no one has been sent yet for me to sign. Bruce said and I quote "I can't find her number, we've lost it" which was a stupid answer cause I did my credit check for them online that had my number on it. And my number was on the paperwork. So clearly NOBODY looked for it. On Monday 7/2/18 someone was sent. I can't remember the lady's name. She was an older lady, maybe in her 30's-40's she said that her and her friends passed throw or lived in Vandalia MO. She had blonde hair. She was nice and answered all the questions that I had. Anyways, I will NEVER be getting another car from Joe Machens Volkswagen, and WILL be telling everyone about their horrible service and the way the sales workers treat their customers. I could have gone over to Joe Machens Toyota and signed and have gotten a vehicle much faster than Volkswagen. I would give Volkswagen 0 stars if I could. More
