Joe Machens Volkswagen Service Department leaves much to be desired in the way of customer service. They had my car for a warranty related engine replacement for almost 3 months. They constantly told me it be desired in the way of customer service. They had my car for a warranty related engine replacement for almost 3 months. They constantly told me it would be done in a couple of days and kept it for weeks afterward. They called me to say the warranty company would only cover 10,500 dollars and that my engine was more costly. They said it would be 650 to 850 out of pocket for me with "no surprises." When the job was FINALLY complete, I was told the bill was 1500. Nearly double the estimate. Then, my AC no longer worked and I had to set an appointment for 3 weeks later because they were too busy to fix the problem. There are still issues with my car, but they never have time or rentals to address the issues without me going without a car until they can squeeze it in. This place is awful. Go somewhere else if you have the option. More
