Took the car in October 2021. Didn’t get it back until after the first of the year. Had it for 3 weeks and it broke down again. Service claimed it was the timing chain which had Didn’t get it back until after the first of the year. Had it for 3 weeks and it broke down again. Service claimed it was the timing chain which had been replaced in February 2021. They refused to change the diagnosis. I towed the car to another service center which said the timing chain was fine. At that point the VW service center acquiesced and said they would rediagnose and repair under warranty. They had it towed back to VW. They have never called me for over 3 weeks to tell me what the new diagnosis is. And have told my wife that no loaners are available or offered to get us a rental. Overall I have had the car 3 weeks out of the past 5 months. Horrible service. If it wasn’t for the warranty, I would take it elsewhere. More
