Took my car in for a safety inspection... ended up needing ball joints on the front end. Machens quoted me almost a $1000 to get it fixed. I told them I am going to get a second opinion... Took it to needing ball joints on the front end. Machens quoted me almost a $1000 to get it fixed. I told them I am going to get a second opinion... Took it to a local "mom&pop" garage. I ended up needing Control Arms, with no mention of ball joints and that garage quoted me $430. I will never return to Joe Machens again for car service. What a complete joke. More

Easy as pie! I found a car I was interested in on Carfax… Message sent to the dealership got a phone call right away from the very charming Bruce Wayne. I gave Bruce my information and went back to work.On my way home I stopped to wrap up the paperwork, was given a really nice loaner until a few service issues are completed. I didn’t even have to ask for that! Probably the easiest, most convenient and most stress-free auto purchase in my entire adult hood! More

Had to be towed for the 3rd time for same issue but this time the tech looked for underlying causes & contacted VW. Car was fixed next business day & we pray this time the fix is the root cause - thanks ag time the tech looked for underlying causes & contacted VW. When I brought my car into the shop to get maintenance, it wasn’t leaking. However, after I drove off the lot, my car was no longer able to hold coolant.
