Depends on who you talk to I spent an hour reading all the reviews on here before submitting mine to see how others experiences compare to mine and I see some similarities. It I spent an hour reading all the reviews on here before submitting mine to see how others experiences compare to mine and I see some similarities. It seems to depend on who you talk to/ For one every employee at John Hirsch Cambridge Motors has treated me with respect and I appreciate that. I have brought my vehicle into the service department a few times and each time the wait was no longer than should be expected. I have ran into a few issues each time but after talking with the service staff they have been taken car of. Taylor and John have been exceptionally good in working with. They both have listened to the issues and worked with me to get them resolved. If I was John Hirsch I would give them a raise as they are superstars in your service department. The others I have worked with are ok but the two of them rock and are the reason I will come back for future work. More
Satisfied Hats off to Steve " the Dodge Wisperer " got the vibration fixed the first time. John Hirsch was recommended by a friend and has not disappointed. I brought my truck back to the dealership after owning it for 2 weeks because the engine light came on. I figured since I had only owned it for 2 weeks I should let then scan it to see if there were any big for 2 weeks because the engine light came on. I figured since I had only owned it for 2 weeks I should let then scan it to see if there were any big issues. To put my truck on the computer and "figure out" what was going on took about an hour - no big deal. They decided I shold replace the compressor solenoid and my gas cap - in other words, they were not sure. To replace the gas cap was going to cost $ 80 - 35 for the cap 5 for shop supplies 40 for labor WOW really. The other part/labor was going to be $355. When I declined it took another hour to "put my truck back together" - Sure whatever. I fixed my truck myself for $60 in parts - it took 45 minutes. I don't like getting ripped off, but I hate being lied to. I was charged $100 for the scan - even though I had only had the truck for 2 weeks. I won't return for my free oil change that came with my purchase. More
We purchased our 2011 Chevrolet Cruze at John Hirsch's Cambridge Motors and have exclusively been bringing it to them for the regular maintenance service (ie. oil changes) as well as any recall w Hirsch's Cambridge Motors and have exclusively been bringing it to them for the regular maintenance service (ie. oil changes) as well as any recall work or other service needs. They always provide us with the highest quality service by getting the work done in a timely matter and getting it done right the first time. They always seem to go above & beyond to ensure that my vehicle is fixed correctly. I think that by having a service advisor, Taylor, assigned specifically to me really enhances the communication with the individual service technician to make sure that my vehicle is serviced properly. In my opinion, bringing your vehicle to John Hirsch's Cambridge Motors is the best decision you could make. More
I received a recall for the Dodge 2011 truck...called for an appointment, was told part would need to be ordered...Received a call after 3 or so weeks that parts were in...made a appointment to have recall t an appointment, was told part would need to be ordered...Received a call after 3 or so weeks that parts were in...made a appointment to have recall taken care of....arrived at 9 AM, at 11 am was told that they could not take care of recall because they did not have the part...only receive a few from Dodge and did not have one to fix my truck..would have to wait untill more parts came in. So here is the question....why did they call and tell me the part was in and have me schedule an appointment...once they called why didn't they put my name on the part since I had made the appointment to come in for the repair....seems to be a lack of communication between departments...now I need to wait again and take additional time off work to get the repair taken care of... Also when making the appointment the information they asked for was like I was trying to buy a new truck...just wanted to make appointment without all the additional info that was asked. I felt like it was my fault that there was a recall on the truck... And why did I receive 3-4 reminders that I had an appointment to fix the recall on the truck...Of course we are back to the real issue...no part was there for my appointment that I made, that they called me to say it was in and could fix the truck.... So you tell me how the communication is working at John Hirsch's Dealership in Cambridge . Dean & Bev Sandahl More

The customer service at this dealership was horrible. Brian the service counter worker changed his story about 5 times. Every time the story changed it got worse. He also made me feel as if I knew noth Brian the service counter worker changed his story about 5 times. Every time the story changed it got worse. He also made me feel as if I knew nothing about my vehicle. I truly believe he knew nothing about the vehicle as the story changed and then he decided to read off of the mechanics report. I have a brand new vehicle that had warranty work completed and they tried to make me pay for the service. To top it off they saved the oil filter for me on the floor of my vehicle. Wow really nice as it leaked because they put it in a plastic bag and did not seal it. I truly believe that this dealership is working to only benefit themselves and not the customer. I feel that if you would choose to do service with this dealership you would be greatly disappointed. I also reported this company to the better business bureau. More
I had a 8:45am apt. to fix the front end pull for the second time, at 11:00am I inquired about the status of the work being preformed on my truck. Someone said they would check on the status, that's when second time, at 11:00am I inquired about the status of the work being preformed on my truck. Someone said they would check on the status, that's when I noticed the keys for the truck where still hanging on the keyboard and that the vehicle had not been even looked at as of 11:00am. That when I said, I need to reschedule, that I could not what all day. I think 2hrs waiting for a scheduled appt. is a little to long. More
We had what appeared to be an oil sensor/pressure problem in our Suburban and someone suggested simply replace the sensor myself (to save money) and see if that fixed the problem. We opted to take the truck in our Suburban and someone suggested simply replace the sensor myself (to save money) and see if that fixed the problem. We opted to take the truck to John Hirsch for a diagnostic and they discovered a faulty sensor that was still under warranty so it was replaced at no charge. They also discovered five burnt out lights that I was unaware of and replaced them. Better they found them than being stopped by police. We have always been very pleased with the service and polite people at John Hirsch's in Cambridge. More
Over-all experience was good. Had an issue with a dead battery in my new vehicle. Technicians tried to charge it instead of just replacing it. That was a bit frustrating battery in my new vehicle. Technicians tried to charge it instead of just replacing it. That was a bit frustrating More
