I was informed that Chase Bank offered an interest rate of 5.84% via pre-qual text. I was told that GMAC, ALLY and Chase would be shopped for the best rate. The financial officer told me that the best rate of 5.84% via pre-qual text. I was told that GMAC, ALLY and Chase would be shopped for the best rate. The financial officer told me that the best rate was GMAC @ 7.1%. She also told me that she received no spread-on interest rates because she receives a wage from the dealership. I am disappointed. On a final note. All of the people involved this sale gave me personal thank you on the purchase of this car. The financial officer looked at me and never became out of her office.
