Great service. We came in the first weekend spur of the moment. Not ready to buy. Rabah took our info and gave us his card. Shareef was the reason we bought the car from Johnson Hyundai. He was personable, polite, and was not "high pressure" like some of the other salespeople in the Triangle area at other dealers. Even though we finalized the deal late on a Friday night, Shareef took his time to explain all the functions within the vehicle. My wife was impressed with Shareef as well. We would like to deal with Shareef when we look for a new car for her in a few months. I was very close to buying the car from another dealership out of state. Johnson Hyundai beat the deal. I was surprised. I did feel pressured into buying a couple of the warranties. I'm sure Greg was just doing his job. I should have been better prepared for this. I purchased the warranties and then decided against them the next day. When I went in to the dealership to tell them about deciding against taking the warranties the next morning, it had already been filed and I was told to come back a few days later. I did so and was told that the credit for the warranties would not come through for 6 to 8 weeks. This has me very concerned. From my understanding, I'll be making payments with the warranties already in the financing until the money is credited to me in approximately two months. Other than this concern, I highly recommend this dealership. I do recommend that people go into the financing part of buying a new car with eyes wide open in regards to the warranty side of things. We went to Johnson Hyundai because of a car that I found online. I was greeted and assisted by our salesman, Mark. He was great. He just seemed like a genuine person. The car pretty much sold itself. It was a used model just over our budget. They were able to get the car into our budget, which was awesome. We initially came in with a pre-approved loan, but their finance department found us a better rate. They take pride in all of their cars, even the used stock--which I didn't see at other dealerships. When we drove off of the lot, our car looked brand new. We'll definitely be back and will be referring Mark to anyone who's in the market for a car. More

I had a great experience at Johnson Hyundai. I sent an email early in the morning requesting information about a car I was interested in and I received an email back within a half hour from John Bowman, t email early in the morning requesting information about a car I was interested in and I received an email back within a half hour from John Bowman, the internet director. John was very pleasant, friendly and scheduled an appointment for me to come and see what the dealership had available. John was very knowledgeable about Hyundai cars and he showed me both used and new cars as well as options for leasing and buying. Basically, John was interested in helping me find the right car and the best deal possible without being pushy, condescending or making me feel like if I did not do what he thought was best, I was making the wrong decision. John treated me like I was his only customer and stayed very late that evening to complete the paperwork for my purchase. Also, Finance Manager, David Saporito, was extremely professional, pleasant and like John, was not pushy, and he did pressure me in to an extended warranty like I had happen to me at another dealer. When I had to return after my purchase to complete some additional paperwork because my payment went down (Yes, they had me come back TO LOWER MY PAYMENT!), John and David treated me like I was their only customer and answered all of my questions. To summarize, if you want a simple, stress free car buying experience, John, David and the Hyundai team at Johnson Hyundai will make sure this happens for you. I purchased a New 2012 Tucson from this dealer on 6/26/12. During the financing part of the sale I felt that I was pressured into buying an extended warranty for the vehicle. I was reassured by the finance officer that if I didn’t like it that I could cancel within the first 60 days. Long story short, I was told that I would receive my refund in 3 to 4wks. It has now been over 10wks and no one will call me back. I have also been to the dealer several times only to WAIT for someone to tell me that it will get handled. Still WAITING and now I am corresponding with the BBB and a local attorney. Service after the sale is not a strong point of this dealership! More
